To have another bash at where the balance of the shares are. UBS have 10% in a fund. Dissenters have 11%+, KBC Peel Hunt have 5% or so for a possible arbitrage oppo. That leaves 12% or so with PIs, some of whom will be inactive and unaware of what is going on.
I don't see GLU picking up many more this week. We will presumably know the figure on Monday. If they don't pick up many, there doesn`t seem much point in extending the offer. So either it lapses, or they increase the offer.

I`m not sure what happens to the undertakings from USS, ARM, etc. if GLU increase the offer. Are they still binding?

KFP. You can't sell and buy back in in any volume. There is not that much of a market.

I hope to have my truck next week, so would consider adding if the offer falls through and the price drops. I would like to hear that Q3 update first, or Q4 results, but if they are good, then away we go, presumably with a changed board.

Glu only extended the offer period by a week.Is that normal? (should have been 2 weeks in my view)

If the deal falls through we should be out and buy back when they fall to pre bid level,although I think with the level of acceptance GLU have got it.

why no EPT Disclosure or Rule 8.3 today. There has been at least 1 every day since SPS announced they were going to stitch up the shareholders.

Ride - The whole board has to go me thinks as they all supported it and all stand to gain from it if it goes through. If Glu walk away, an EGM will be called and I would not miss that.

If this deal doesn't go through (And I hope it doesn't). The position of Messrs Quinn and Roberts are somewhat untenable are they not ?

abc - I dont think GLU can walk away as they need SPS. I think if they get 60-70% today, they will extend it again and then they will offer 12p, to try to get the deal done. $3.6M is nothing to get it done and dusted

pm....I don't think Glu will get much more acceptances by the end of today. There's a strong chance Glu might withdraw the offer come monday.

I think it is fair to say that if there is no announcement today, re someone else looking, despite the effort from a couple of people GLU will get SPS on the cheap, but it might take a little longer than they expected.

Like most of you, I've not accepted, if this goes for 10p it is a total farce & the management should be held to trial. Lets hope Glu don't get what they require and the current management can be replaced with people who are ambitious and want to grow this company to what we know it could be.

Personally think GLU will pull the plug if they don't get the 75% they need.

I know of 3 certificated holders - 2 in different parts of UK & 1 overseas - who still have not received postal notice of the 22 Feb extended deadline & have not accepted 10p. So what the hell is going on, anyone?

UBS are indeed a fund, I think Barclays having issued a RNS including the Gerrards holding have continued when the Gerrards holding was sold off.
They have to announce all the shares they hold as the whole group and that would include nominee accounts with Barclays Stockbrokers ltd.

thanks Trout. That seems clear enough. Though I wouldn`t have thought stockbrokers would have to RNS holdings for nominee accounts. They did say, about a year ago, that the RNS did not include them.
What about UBS. That`s a fund, isn`t it? They had 10% at the last count.
