Supergroup (BUY) – Peak Performance
SGP LN (1572p, TP 1920p), Market Cap: £1278.7m

SuperGroup delivered a solid set of H1 results and the Q3 LFL growth of 15% confirmed a strong performance over peak. We upgraded our FY’17 PBT by 3% to £86.5m on the day of the results and today publish our new forecasts in full detail. We reiterate our BUY recommendation with a TP of 1920p (21x cal’17 PER) and continue to believe in the global growth potential of the brand. Execution of the strategy remains key but with an experienced management team and well invested infrastructure SuperGroup is well placed to capture its full growth potential.

Just added. Got a feeling in me bones about this one. Plus a look at the monthly chart shows a rising base line since June 2012, coming into conflict with a slightly falling top "horizontal" at between 1750p and 1665p. The base line will conquer. This will smash through 1750p and hit 2000p this year.

FINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS

· Strong trading performance with Group revenue up 31.1% to £334.0m (1H16: £254.7m)

· Retail revenue up 25.0% to £215.2m (1H16: £172.1m)

· Retail like-for-like1,4 sales up 12.8% (1H16: 17.2%)

· Online participation of retail sales increased to 21.6% (1H16: 19.2%)

· Wholesale revenue increased by 43.8% to £118.8m (1H16: £82.6m)

· Favourable currency movements contributed approximately one-third to revenue growth

SGP SuperGroup inching up for a possible breakout of a very tight range over last week or so. Reports trading Statement may 11th. Brokers are going for a 69% increase in normalised EPS for full year 2017. PE 18.6 PEG 0.27. Historically commands a P/E in the 30s looks derd cheap.
