That sounds refreshingly honest escapetohome. I genuinely hope that you remain profitable.

Personally, I do have the odd speculation, but in general I've found investing in great value micro-caps that are under most people's radars have provided life changing returns.

I have lost plenty , the main reason is by investing too much money in a share. A hard lesson to learn.


Funnily enough , i now invest smaller amounts in " gambles " assessing " odds"

Ive never looked back. I finally became profitable.

escapetohome - It's called having a punt or closing your eyes and hoping for the best. I'll bet you've never made a bad trade? ;)

Strange how at least 8 out 10 traders lose money but it's never anybody on these boards. ;)

In actual fact it's the reason I try to warn people about dodgy tipping sites but I'm beginning to wonder why I bother? After all it's your money to lose.

In fairness, if you are trading/having a punt then "don't be greedy" is good advice. However, if you're daft enough to punt on loss making speculative rubbish in the first place then it's unlikely that you know when to sell.

The real money is in picking good companies and just holding them until you think the story has changed significantly or they're bought out. :)

I bought in 0.15 - 0.20 and sold half at around 0.5.

Therefore i got back my original stake + profit , and the rest were in for free.

Thats the way to do it. I intended to keep the free stake, and i missed out on selling at the top. When it fell back down past 0.48 and lower , i felt the trend was against me and sold my free stake. Yes , at a profit. Now i have no sula shares.

Thats the way to do it. Textbook, dont be greedy.

It was laughable and still is , it was a guess , without using any skill.

Just intuition.

A prediction based on using knowledge and skill? If that is the case i would not be laughing but full of admiration!

However , on schitzo AIM , a guess can easily work out to be true
