Now that was uplifting. NOT. Strategy: we'll just keep burning up 2 million of cash for administrative purposes to continue what we've been doing. share price should be cash per share minus discount.

Partners are ok as long as you dont have something they want. Bahar obviously thought Stratex had more than their fair share of Altintepe so they proceeded to shaft us up the backside until we threw in the towel. We could have sued them but it would have been a long drawn out battle that probably would have taken the company close to bankruptcy. At least we have a chance now to make good. Good old Bob and Chris

It's all about the future now and Marcus needs to get on with it. I notice the reference to other projects just says 'mining' so not necessarily gold.

Not sure what others made of today's Final results but reading this section of then result made me feel even worse. Appears we actually only got $6Mill for our 45% share of an operating mine..

"...The owners of the Altıntepe mine agreed to pay US$2 million, net of taxes, (approximately £1.6 million) for services related to the operation of the mine provided by the Company's geological team based in Turkey. This forms a part of the US$8 million net consideration for the sale of Stratex's 45% interest in the mine and has been reported as "Other Income" for the year; ..."

If STI was owned $2M for services and that $2Mil is part of the $8Mil received for sale of our 45% interest, in effect we only got $6Mill for our 45% interest.

Wish they could have been upfront on how much we got for the mine rather than padding the figure with other monies owned to us . If you feel that you can trust a management, then you would not need to start deciding what discount factor to apply to whatever they say.

Anyway I do not have as much shares as most of you so I will just go back to sleep and put the shares in the bottom drawer.

You didn't believe the company was useless for years when I was trying to tell you. Why start now.

Steve - that certainly is a good point.

Tad - I hope Marcus has something up his sleeve because so far his performance hasn't really been very impressive.

I have been in situations like this before, when all the chips are down, sentiment is rock bottom, share price on the floor, disillusioned private investors, bulletin board negativity, no apparent blue sky opportunity ahead, a number of stocks I have held in the past have often doubled/trebled on some unexpected news event.

I simply cannot believe the new CEO does not have a plan which will deliver value, I simply cannot see him burning through cash like Stratex has done in the past, those entities responsible have now left the company thank heavens.

The new CEO was awarded options at 1.85p and needs to deliver for his own business reputation, he is in his mid 50's not approaching retirement like Bob Foster & Co.

My view is Stratex is a fair investment proposition at current levels, cash of circa £7m with investments (Thani-Stratex, Goldstone, Tembo) that could be worth another £6m-£7m against the current £7.25m market cap, notwithstanding any new corporate developments.

Some form of update must be due.

Market cap now about cash value so market believes that current management is as useless as the last set of duffers and will squander the cash . Englebrecht took the job as he wanted to move to UK and STI couldnt attract anyone else . What a circus

A reverse wouldn't rule out a TSX listing or a placing

The other way forward of creating shareholder value would be to return cash and shares in TS to shareholders and folding the business, worth over 2p per share.
