(Time obviously flies when you're enjoying yourself!) In that period of time some shareholders could potentially have gone bankrupt or died etc., so shares could potentially just be dumped without any consideration of value etc. The closest comparison I can recall is the return from suspension of the shell ROC last summer, after being suspended on 20.11.17 for a potential RTO. ROC's potential RTO had been aborted, though the shell had excellent cash backing. However, that didn't stop the ROC share price from quickly collapsing to less than half its net cash per share, despite having very low cash-burn, and excellent RTO prospects. But that turned out to be a real buy opportunity, with the ROC share price soon rebounding to double its low, and a few months later being suspended for another RTO, at a big premium to the s.p.
