JM thanks for note: IC report was 11th Feb - very up to date!
Birmingham City Council (BCC) has confirmed that it is to move to wheelie bin recycling collections from summer 2014.

also from your other link:

"Following a 'successful' trial in Brandwood and Harborne wards, the council will soon be rolling out 240-litre wheelie bins for dry recyclables – including metal, glass and plastic, with a separate insert pod for paper and card (collected fortnightly) – to all other city wards. The bins, manufactured by Straight plc (and pictured right), will replace the two 40-litre recycling boxes (one for paper and card, and one for all other dry recyclables) that are currently collected every fortnight.

Residual waste will continue to be collected on a weekly basis, although the current black bag system will be replaced with a 180-litre wheelie bin (equivalent to around two to three black sacks).

The move has been funded through a £29.8 million grant awarded to the city by..."

As mentioned shares tightly held. Many of us feel undervalued following some pain after opportunist deals. Now cleverly re financed with vendors of acquired operations and showing the benefit of some vertical integration and also spread of opportunity with good overseas operations as well.
Has good history of dividends when prudent - and opportunistic deals!

JMF69 Please where can we view the house broker estimates as described above? If this is a recent estimate and results due March 31 then very good news indeed. I have been a fan for some time. Shares are tightly held.

Surely looking good - Nod as good as a wink just a few weeks away from March Interim's!

Barclay s had trouble yesterday fulfilling buy orders on line and willingly gave me the on line charge over the phone for a small top up.
