Stewart & Wight Plc (the "Company") has been informed that Mr D G Conn, managing
director has acquired 25,590 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of #4.10
per ordinary share

The Company was further informed that Mrs D B Cramer, wife of Mr D M Cramer,
finance director has acquired 4,000 shares at #4.10 per share

The Company was further informed that The Esher House Charitable Trust had sold
50,000 ordinary shares in the Company. Mr M B Conn, Mrs H R Conn and Mr D G Conn
have a non-beneficial interest in the Charitable Trust.

The new shareholdings of Mr D G Conn and Mr D M Cramer and their respective
families are as follows;
