12/7/2005 08:27 | From what I understand, providing you are a director of a limited company you can set one of these schemes up with a view to it being your retirement fund. It allows you to buy and sell shares, (amonst other things), free of Capital Gains Tax. | crate | |
12/7/2005 08:24 | I've just been to a seminar describing the benefits of the Small Self Administered Scheme. These benefits sound substantial in terms of tax savings and freeing up profits from a limited company in which you are a director. I would welcome any comments from those of you with greater knowledge as I'm just starting to research the benefits. There is also potential for individual schemes to work together in order to buy into a greater investment. | crate |
