Agree with what you say. Only thing is the company would not go to the trouble to get peoples names. A High Court Order is far more expensive too. The correct channel is the regulator and their intray will no doubt be full up already with complaints about buystock (the criminal behind this), stigologist and ShareProphets.

Hopefully if enough people complain the criminals will get their collar felt.

That's why folks need to do their own research. If you know your investment well such posts can be easily dismissed.

A lot harder to work out when people pile into a hype share, which is what this became (shoot first and ask questions later).

ADVFN is infested with crooks and those that view these threads know that, so the easy answer is don't chase rumours as 99% of them are false.

TBH looking at the posts and spamming it should have been obvious and was to some.

Watch out for those pictures of newspaper cuttings about a share pasted into threads. They'll try anything.

I think the company needs to contact Advfn and get them to do something. Of course I cannot prove buystock is behind all those names I list but all the regulars know him and his names.

But it's pointless removing all his current names. By Friday he will have set up 25 new ones. It's court action is what is needed with buystock. He is making a lot of money will all these false stories causing several spikes a year in small caps and he gets away with it and he is hardly hiding in the shadows he is as arrogant as they come I bet he will log in with those names tonight to spam. Think he is
trying something with GWMO and check out IRG he posts false info almost every day
on that stock and also check the MMO threads

Sorry I forgot to mention Stigologist. However he is at least a useful guide to stocks which are about to bounce.

Hopefully the FCA do not take action against him. In fact I have withdrawn previous complaints on the basis he must be useless.

Vote with your feet that's why I did, give any level 1 or 2 money to someone else.

ADVFN is shockingly poor and complicit imo.

I have been tracking Starcom for some time and tipped it a few weeks before lift-off as buying patterns changed suggesting something was brewing, it was obvious shares were tight too.
The share price isn't mad re what they have, so hopefully anyone that did believe the hype and bought should be just fine.

Pre chaos and news you could only buy about £500 worth without moving the price.

If found guilty Buystock will be fined by the FCA. He may receive a discount for early payment.

However I do not think there is any provision for victims of his lies to be compensated. He is fairly well known on this site for posting lies but there are always new investors who will be taken in.

Has buystock been market abusing this stock too?

As 21trader says, he has been active for years. And he really is not that difficult to find. He was exposed over 4 years ago as an internet dating addict. Seems he has talents in various areas.

This is good news, hopefully someone will get publicly shamed and punished from trying to profit by posting false information.

However I suspect there will be a lot of investors who bought in today sitting on a rather large loss tomorrow.

edit, not sure if they will be entitled to compensation from the scammer

Ok 21 Trader....give the information to the company because this is a share price rigging scam using a highly reputable company and that is a criminal offense which needs to be prosecuted.

Please tell the company everything you know as it seems you have been on these types of share threads for many years and we may be able to benefit from your long experience.

The business in my view has a wide range of excellent products, fully funded and emerging from a development company that has produced a Porshe approved tracker device which is being trialled by a German distributor. It has very good potential but the two claims made today through Scoop.it are not true stories.

With I.O.T. taking off this year the growth potential of the business is excellent and that is why I want to be apart of this new stage of computing evolution.

But first we have to stop corrupt share dealing activities by all working and sharing together information that is verifiable.

I will be keeping a watchful eye on this thread everyday.

21trader ---If you can identify who has been putting out false news on Scoop.it and other outlets then either tell me or email Starcom direct. This type of misconduct really has to stop right now.

I removed my post about Honda..I truly did not know it was false because I trusted the Scoop.it website. That is the first and last time.

I emailed Starcom early afternoon today and congratulated them on the Honda deal whilst writing about something completely different. Perhaps that was how the alarm bells rang.
