17/5/2006 17:28 | Right, perhaps we should adjourn to Ace's new "endless" thread to continue our banter and give peace a chance. | ![]() mad4it
17/5/2006 17:25 | I've sold most of mine too, but what I have left will still start to hurt me if they all keep crumbling at such a rate, I'll have to call it a day soon or I'll give up to much of my remaining profits. No pain today though, as they bounced, slightly (but gave up most of their gains intraday )and I made a bit trading, but I'm not a happy bunny looking at todays action (no offence meant to any other bunnies on this thread). | ![]() mad4it
17/5/2006 17:13 | I've sold most of mine, but still hold a few aim stock that were in the doldrums anyway. So, it will be interesting to see what develops this week. | ![]() kozel
17/5/2006 17:02 | Kozel - Yes, I now fear a big crash will occur before any decent bounce gets me out of the rest of my remaining portfolio (though I'll probably hold onto one or two oil and resource stocks, to hedge my bets). Gonna be watching the US indices tonight like I haven't in years! | ![]() mad4it
17/5/2006 16:59 | Mad, I had a feeling it would take 11250 today. If this doesn't hold though it could spell disaster, 1987 style. | ![]() kozel
17/5/2006 16:53 | Actually, It was a pretty good day on the old STAR thread. scuba got his first 1000 post thread (we'll never hear the end of it). Banter was flowing. I polished my Death Stars I cosied up to kozel. Rabbit was ignored. Yep, a good day all in all (though a shame my portfolio didn't go up much). So, back to the "endless misunderstanding" thread it is then, though it may need the kiss of life (again, no tongues). scuba wont admit it, but he'll miss me when I'm gone. I wont miss him though.....I can hardly miss him with that head of his reflecting the sunlight all the way from Hull! ;) Adieu. | ![]() mad4it
17/5/2006 16:49 | Right then , that's enough of the old free BB for me for one day . Thankyou to all traders (and non traders) that have contributed . Good night . Scuba . | ![]() scuba doo

17/5/2006 16:21 | LOS ANGELES (AFX) - Hewlett-Packard Co.'s stock climbed on Wednesday as investors rewarded its strong quarterly results, though rising consumer prices and concerns about inflation kept a lid on technology stocks. | ![]() tub of lard
