12/2/2019 03:15 | Yes I think they have to cut heads and CEOs. They need to revigorate and you cannot do that with a stale management team. I believe the business can be recovered but it doesn’t happen by watching AUMs walking out the door. I’m taking a certain risk sticking with SLA for the longer term, just hope it pays. | tornado12
11/2/2019 23:02 | tornado12, Skeoch and Gilbert probably also don't understand what's happening in the business. :-) | mcunliffe1
11/2/2019 21:54 | Funny how the directors bought just before their closed period in Nov and Dec?? Why was that? | m12rtn
11/2/2019 17:52 | 13th March for the full year results. | rcturner2
11/2/2019 17:34 | To be honest I will be very intrigued in the full year results. Seems there’s no other way to understand what’s happening in their business for last 6 months ! | tornado12
11/2/2019 17:32 | SLA keep on buying those 1m shares every day, every week, every month. Without any inclination of profit warning , business collapse or other catastrophes you could think of ! Is the boarding cunning and clever or just down right stupid and only looking for their bonus based only on EPS target ? | tornado12
08/2/2019 17:46 | Their main fund has lost more to withdrawals than any other. This is due to poor performance. | meijiman
08/2/2019 17:34 | Got in today at 243.18p which I hope near the bottom. It is rare for a company to cut divi in same year as doing large share buy backs. | 2wild
08/2/2019 17:14 | In reverse gear again, what a dog of a company | rathlindri
08/2/2019 16:21 | Try shorting Nick Rubens. Look at PUT options if you really believe a stock will go down. | mcunliffe1
08/2/2019 16:06 | Everything I've bought in the last two weeks is down, so decided not to buy SLA on expectation of another stock price falling for me(shorter term at least). If everything I buy seems to have a lower entry point a little short time later, when exactly do I buy? lol | nick rubens
08/2/2019 15:07 | Also added to my holding day....saltairie111 agree with your post above. | spcecks
08/2/2019 14:31 | Should have explained that my rationale for buying in now is that I expect the board to enter into a significant restructuring which will see a single CEO appointed, major reduction in heads and complete rationalisation of the business. I also think that the company will maintain its Divi, using cost savings to engineer this outcome. | saltaire111
08/2/2019 14:28 | I just bought in here at £2.45. Bought quite a few and expect to double my money - just a question of when! Salty | saltaire111
08/2/2019 13:34 | Never mind ..the senior management had a great time in Davos with the finest food/choice whiskies and pipers. You should be happy for them. | meijiman
08/2/2019 13:06 | It's lost more than the value of the next dividend in the last 24hrs. | eeza
08/2/2019 11:23 | Still optimistic :- Berenberg Hold 248.05 312.00 290.00 Retains | skinny
08/2/2019 11:12 | Chart remains in clear downtrend, hopefully they can do something to turn around falling aum, otherwise what will change. | its the oxman
08/2/2019 11:11 | Trouble is if your collecting a 10% + div it normally means the market thinks it's very likely to be cut. | its the oxman
07/2/2019 19:16 | And as the buybacks continue, more get taken out of circulation at this lower price. | ramellous
07/2/2019 19:06 | The divi yield is tempting though, if they can hold it and raise it. No one cares what happens to the share price if you are collecting 10-12% a year in divis. | this_time_its_different
07/2/2019 18:47 | Usual EOD capitulation. | eeza
07/2/2019 17:29 | I’m not sure a divi hold will create a price increase. A divi cut will certainly be seen negative considering the 12% share consolidation and massive 1 million BB per day running several months. My expectation is no change on divi, news on how they will stop the AUM rot and thereby stabilise the SP | tornado12
07/2/2019 16:35 | Market pricing in a divi cut, though I'm being tempted at this price. Be greedy when others are fearful. If the divi is held, this will shoot up massively. | this_time_its_different |
