25/7/2018 17:43 | As a small P I, I hold some shares in SLA and possibly thinking of obtaining a few more and other companies. I used to trade via telephone with T D Waterhouse until the have subsequently sold to iii and only facilitate online nominee accounts. The trouble I am experiencing, is being able to locate a stockbroker I can use to purchase certificated shares without costs and share certificates costing an arm and a keg. I think sharecentre do some shares but the range of shares available appears to be limited. Can anyone point me in the direction of a stockbroker who can facilitate certificated dealing in a wide range of shares? My other limitations are, purchases are sporadic, so an account charging monthly quarterly or yearly fees would be a problem and not cost effective. T. D. Did not charge these fees, just the costs applicable at the time of the trade. By the way, interested only in U.K. shares. Thanks in anticipation for any help. | geminian

17/7/2018 20:49 | For the record gents I don't have ACTION filtered for having a contrary view on SLA or any other share. I filtered him for spamming several boards that I frequent. More than happy to read contributions from others negative or positive. wllm | wllmherk

17/7/2018 12:14 | There's plenty of idiots on ADVFN, plenty. But I have never filtered anyone. Ignoring contrary views has cost me plenty in the past. I was very interested in wilmherk's recent post but the current downtrend is ignored at our peril. | grahamite2
