There are 4 major shareholders of Star Phoenix and hundreds and hundreds of private investors. Almost none of us currently are commenting on any board. Why?

No trades going through, no news coming from company, website not yet been updated after AGM, rigs deal fell through.

And share price has not moved since Noah was a lad. And oil price is almost $58 a barrel. We assume that, with new infrastructure on Beach Marcelle, that production is still showing a healthy increase and we are getting historically good revenues at $58. But we don't know. So what does RangenoResources post, I wonder? Poor lad doesn't even have shares in STA, so must be thinking about it. Or thinking about something.

What is not to like?"It sounds counterintuitive and counterlogical, but there is a possibility that if the current government of Iran is toppled, crude oil prices could drop to $40 a barrel. That's according to the chairman of JBC Energy, Johannes Benigni, who told CNBC a regime change could return Iran to the negotiating table, implying that the U.S. administration could be happy enough with that to lift the sanctions-an act that would no doubt flood the market with Iranian oil.

AEX looks good today, CH. Also, oil price is well up today at $58.61 a barrel. Perhaps another country has been trumped.

Not sure why you have asked those questions, Felix. But don't believe any shareholders yet know the reasons why the "deal" with Wilson never went through. Hoping they have something else lined up - better deal perhaps.

We also need to know whether Wilson paid the penalty clause for not completing on time. If not, why?

Don't think directors have bought shares privately recently, but easy for you to check that. Lot of "freeby" shares issued over last 10 years have now lapsed - and most were allocated to directors.

What is case for buying STA? Not sure there is a case at present moment, unless you like to gamble on AIM and want to dabble with cash you can afford to lose. Downside of investing £500, say, is - well, frankly, downside is £500. But evidence of why CEO was "excited about 2020 (ref AGM only 6 weeks ago)could cause huge percentage increases to occur. Broker forecasts 17p a share ie 8x. But extremely risky, I think.
