Who was the broker who said to buy STP and sell COLT a few months back?

Couldn't have been more wrong really could he - STP dropped more than 50% and COLT rocketed.

But the endless greed of market makers lives on !

Takes a bundle at 0.25p and offers 0.6p, they are having a laugh
if they think some mugs will pay around that price when they have
paid far less, they should do the decent thing and offer 0.35p and
allow long term suffering shareholders a chance of some cheap stock.

SPIRITEL PLC

Alastair Mills, CEO wins Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 Award in recognition of
SpiriTel's transformation
SpiriTel plc, (AIM:STP), the business communications service provider, is pleased to
announce that Alastair Mills, its Chief Executive, has won the prestigious National Comms
Business Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 Award. The award was presented to Alastair at the
Awards Dinner, held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London last night.
The Award recognises the individual within the industry that most clearly demonstrates
entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, drive and the qualities needed to build a successful
telecoms business. These include tenacity, self belief, creativity, a strong work ethic and
vision.
At the age of 32, Alastair was one of the youngest CEOs of a listed company when appointed
in 2005 and in 2006 he launched the Company's successful 'acquire, integrate and grow'
strategy. Since then, SpiriTel has acquired six telecoms resellers and built a new B2B Division
servicing over 2,300 SME and major corporate customers including Whitbread, Lufthansa and
BBC Worldwide. Today SpiriTel is recognised as a leader in the provision of a range of
converged voice and data services to UK businesses. The Company recently signed a £4m
contract with a major global hotel group for the provision of network services across its UK
estate. During the last 12 months, the Business Division has delivered strong organic growth,
driven by cross selling successes valued at over £7m.
In announcing the award, the judges commented, "SpiriTel is a growing and profitable
company with the flexibility to adapt to changes in the industry. Alastair has developed a well
structured successful telecoms business and is a worthy winner."
Commenting on the award, Alastair Mills, CEO of SpiriTel said: "It is an honour to receive the
Entrepreneur of the Year Award. SpiriTel has a highly skilled and committed staff and I am
proud to have the opportunity to thank the whole team for their efforts and hard work during
a period of significant progress for the Group."
Lord St John of Bletso, SpiriTel's Chairman, added: "I am delighted with Alastair's award.
Through his leadership, vision and determination, SpiriTel has undergone a fantastic
turnaround. This award is a fitting recognition of Alastair's abilities and drive and
acknowledges what his colleagues and fellow directors have always recognised."

Notes to Editors
SpiriTel is a business communications group which is taking advantage of the opportunities
created by rapidly changing telecoms markets in the UK as the migration to Internet Protocol
(IP) based services accelerates. The Group is a consolidator of the highly fragmented UK
telecoms reseller market and is building a substantial customer base and scale through
selective earnings-enhancing acquisitions. We are organised into two divisions, SpiriTel
Technologies - focused on our infrastructure and IP products and services - and SpiriTel
Business, which provides our fully integrated range of voice and data services direct to
business customers.
Today, the Group offers a broad range of voice and data communications products and
services to a customer base of small and medium sized enterprises and an increasing number
of larger national and international organisations. We are a recognised leader in the provision
of new, but proven, Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions that are firmly based on the old-fashioned
service values which run throughout the Group.
