AGM Statement At Spectrum Interactive's ("Spectrum" or the "Company") Annual General Meeting today, Chairman Lord Young of Graffham will make the following statement: The current year has started satisfactorily. We continue to roll out our WiFi services to new locations, and since the beginning of the financial year we have added a further 50 hotel WiFi sites to our estate. We have recently begun to operate internet desks at Manchester Airport, and we are therefore now operating internet desks at all leading UK airports. We recently announced that we have lost the bid to provide payphone services at all BAA airports excluding Heathrow Terminal 5, and we will begin the process of removing our payphones from BAA sites in early 2009. Despite the loss of revenue, we are confident in our ability to streamline certain payphone operations to achieve a minimal impact on profit. Otherwise, we continue our payphone rationalization programme and expect to have in the region of 4,000 payphones in operation by the end of the financial year (4,700 currently). Two key areas of focus for the Company during the current year are cash flow and debt repayment, and since 30 June 2008 we have repaid £0.6m of bank debt, and our net debt has fallen from £5.2m to £4.5m. While current trading is in line with market expectations, we are mindful of the difficult economic environment in which we are operating. In our core travel market, BAA reported a six percent decline in passenger numbers in October, and we expect to see continued softness in this market during 2009. Nonetheless, the Board is confident in the Company's ability to deliver sustained growth in our interactive business while continuing the successful implementation of our payphone rationalization programme, and we look forward to the period ahead with cautious optimism.
