27/7/2011 12:58 | * Who is the best SIPP provider for online share dealing who provides Trustee/admin functions? * Am i right in thinking you can have more than one SIPP? As some of them have zero annual charge is it worth having 2 or more SIPP accounts for added safety? * Any other advice? | radhaz

09/3/2011 21:05 | Generally havent found sippdeal to b a problem..so wud suggest tht its a rare event | badtime
09/3/2011 20:55 | you will find any internet dealing service has the odd outage afraid thats technology and part of the territory. TD Waterhouse, IG Index III all of them, even the London Stock Exchange have problems. I concur regarding your post call-logger i have done lots of trades since dumping Hargreaves for sippdeal and must have already saved around £500 in charges. | envirovision
09/3/2011 20:44 | A colleague uses Hargreaves Landowne and he showed me his account transactions the other day. I was shocked by the monthly charges involved. Not so much by the amounts but that there were any. I chose Sippdeal for the fee-free charging structure and the good reviews in 2007. Since then dealinj charges have reduced and the trading platform has got better. No way am I thinking of moving just because of a half-day outage. HL does have a better deal on funds though if that's your bag. | call-logger
08/3/2011 13:21 | SIPPDeal online dealing is down, anyone have experience of SIPPDeal and other providers and care to recommend any of the other providers over SIPPDeal ? | simongn
26/1/2011 08:31 | Any one have used Barclays SIPP ? | attrader
26/1/2011 08:30 | Dont think you can trade CFDs via Selftrade , i called them up and they said no you cant. | attrader
25/1/2011 13:01 | You have to have an administrator and Sippdealxtra is the one I use, which allows you to use Sippdeals platform. Many of the others lock you into higher trade fees etc. that's why I use them. | isis
25/1/2011 12:59 | Though Selftrade CFDs and Spread Betting goes through City Index | call-logger
25/1/2011 12:56 | This is the one I use, the trading platform is the old Squargain, now Selftrade - nothing to do with TDW. All a bit confusing I admit! ;-)) https://www.sippdeal | isis
25/1/2011 12:52 | ah - If it is run through Selftrade doesn't that mean it is the TDW platform :-( | sarahbudd
25/1/2011 12:47 | sarah - sorry, I was going on about Sippdealxtra. | isis
25/1/2011 12:42 | isis I think you're talking about SippdealExtra run through Selftrade SippdealBogStandard doesn't have admin fees but has a bit less functionality | call-logger
25/1/2011 12:42 | Oh thanks isis. I may just amalgamate my accounts. That is a good deal :-) Have only heard good reports about Sippdeal. | sarahbudd
25/1/2011 12:38 | Sarah - £35- yearly admin fee which covers all your Accounts - with that you get 3 free trades for the month the bill is in. So if you use the 3 trades it's basically free. You can have Dealing, ISA and SIPP - the admin fee covers all. It is the same £12.50 a trade whatever account you have, It's small Beer in the scheme of things. | isis |
