Yes. The market will catch on soon. MATD is another one that has a crazy valuation on no production and some folk say it is going up further. I know where I would sooner have my money ;-)

If it remains as undervalued as now, then I think we will receive a bid. But fingers crossed that doesn't happen! Once the placing seller is cleared we will move up rapidly IMO.

Makes you think that a bid could materialise if they had several approaches for a farm in. Will obviously be dependent on the results of SD but could come in play if they are as good as hoped.

SDX have received several approaches from operators wanting to farm in to the South Disouq license in Egypt but SDX do not want to dilute their interest.

This to me shows great confidence in the upcoming drill.

Lots of big producers piling into Egypt over the coming year, renewed policies from the government re. Payment and structured terms

Thanks Nick, very helpfull.

ps
It was meant to be a generic precis, not an SDX specific comment. I guess all new activity will be predicated on sound financing or it wouldn't take place.

Must have been 'speed reading' apad. SDX have always been paid - predominantly in U.S. dollars but also with a proportion of Egyptian pounds. The latter is useful for the internal expenditure SDX incur.

Probably the best read in this context is this article titled ' Eni, BP Pouring More Investment Into Egypt Than Anywhere Else'

Thanks, del, I had skimmed back but missed last week!

So a precis is:

When we are a major gas producer we will pay our debts.

Mmmm.

Yes, I could be accused of ramping, and I am biased as I hold a lot of these. But, have a read of the article in the header. This will be throwing off cash in the months and years to come.

Patience will be rewarded IMO.

Success in the South Disouq drilling that is about to start will double/treble the share price here IMO.

Watch some of the videos here:

there are some stark similarities between SDX and AEX. Both are producers, SDX has the advantage with greater production and higher margins. Both are going after the onshore extension of a very large proven (multi-TCF) gas play that extends offshore. Both believe there is potential for oil on their licensed areas. A discovery for AEX has been transformational. If SDX can deliver with the drillbit at SD, it will spark renewed interest and I see this heading towards 100p in rapid fashion.

No problem plentymorefish.

Once the overhang clears this should start to move to a fairer evaluation ahead of the drill.

When you look at the valuation of FOG and AEX (and others) you can see how much catching up that this has to do and what will be possible on a good SD result.
