Thank you dimtri for sharing that article, it shows Ecuador as being really serious about backing industrial scale mining. I wonder if the Chinese are looking to expand? :¬)

Fair comment Lowtrawler. I'm sat in this because I believe that at some point the resource will be exploited, it being so large and with the favourable aspects of nearby power and plenty of water ensuring comparatively low start up costs. Plus of course not being in an interesting part of Africa, and not too far from a port. It's taking time as these things do, but there can' be many such resources with these sorts of positives. It's been the same story for a couple of years or so, no doubt being watched by the same vultures waiting for their moment to strike.

I think its what the large trader may know thats the issue here .

He may just think its cheap ( which it is ). And wishes to get in at a low price .

But he seems to be in a hurry to get them ...why?

Be careful around any expectation of this heralding a sustained price increase. Once the large order is filled, there's no reason to believe it won't drift back.

If a big player wants to get a position here then now's as good a time as any. It's the holiday season lots of people away, the price is on the floor, drill permits must be close by now, gold is up and looks set to creep further up, and Cascabel is openly talked about as a world class resource. It won't stay a wall flower for ever.

Could be a perfect storm ..

Plenty sitting on the sidelines with cash . Once they see it going they will jump in .

We could go up to 45p a 50 percent rise in a week.
