26/3/2019 15:08 | Until mining permits are granted for our other liscences then we are a one trick pony. We will have to dilute for funding more drilling where Cornerstone will not. THeir dilution only really comes at the end once they will almost have been guaranteed that the mine will come to fruition. | 5070481
26/3/2019 14:35 | We know the answer to that Jerry . So you do not think they are holding back PEA because of cornerstone take over ? | mknight
26/3/2019 14:00 | The issue of the cgp bid is a question of valuing the assets other than cascabel. If cgp holders think that solg has more value other than cascabel than cgp assets other than cascabel, they would be daft to decline the offer. If they think that cgp has more value other than cascabel they should decline. Any change in value in cascabel is immaterial as it’s a share swap. Not sure why that hasn’t been made clear by either party. | jerryspaniel
26/3/2019 13:55 | The question is just how long can NM hold back the PEA. One months 3 months 6 months a year. | mknight
26/3/2019 13:07 | I see the logic Noccer, but if Solg released news that greatly lifted the value of Solg shares, then just give that value away to CGP holders? Surely they would be entitled to fewer shares as compensation? Perhaps a bit of a conundrum. Whilst NM wants them on-board he can't be seen to be overpaying them. | lefrene
26/3/2019 12:48 | Yes, mkknight, I think thats the issue, CGP are going to have to put money into ENSA big time. What I don't know is if they have similar liabilities with other projects they have got themselves into (they have both a JV with ENAMI, and another with Sunstone and a couple of wholly owned prospects in southern ecuador - I wonder if the recent regional voting has affected those). However if the offer is for SOLG shares, then surely releasing the PEA to show the real value in Cascabel and you would expect boosting the SOLG share price surely makes the deal more attractive to CGP shareholders. | noccer
26/3/2019 12:42 | We just have to trust that NM can get the CGP holders to see sense. As you say no point in them holding out and then finding they can't come up with their share of near future capital costs. As more time passes so the drilling goes on, when news finally arrives it will come in one big dump. For anyone who believes that the end game is much closer, today provides an opportunity to add to your Solg collection :¬) | lefrene
26/3/2019 12:28 | Lefrene That is true but the offer seems very fair. If we end up mining Alpala they may have a problem coming up with the money . It seems NM thinks he can get the deal through so we may have a long wait for PEA or any other drilling news . | mknight
26/3/2019 12:09 | But haven't they got to get CGP holders to accept a share swap first? If the CGP holders feel their shares are worth more now, then they will hold out for a more generous offer, and then reap even bigger rewards as Solg shares appreciate. I get the feeling that CGP holders are getting greedy. | lefrene
26/3/2019 12:01 | Lefrene I agree with what you say. But the offer is for shares. If solgold price rises then the price recieved for cornerstone will be more. So why wait ? | mknight
26/3/2019 11:45 | There's more to mining than just digging stuff out of the ground, there's some very dirty politicking that goes with the job. It's the politicking that can only be learnt through experience, I believe that NM has that experience. Plainly CGP has to be accommodated before anything else happens. | lefrene
26/3/2019 11:28 | Exactly ODR. Long term holders have confidence in NM. Some rubbish posted on this BB today. | mam fach

26/3/2019 10:27 | SP Angel's comments on recent update $SOLG $SOLG.L #ecuador $CGP Conclusion: We look forward to the publication of results from the Alpala PEA and we speculate that the continuing focus of the drilling programme on possible extensions of the higher grade mineralisation may eventually result in further extensions to the overall 2.05bn tonnes resource at an average grade of 0.6%copper equivalent which was announced in November 2018 and/or to the 420mt averaging 0.86% copper and 0.91g/t gold contained within the higher grade core. 26/3/2019 10:09 | 1garythomas Not seen you around here before. If you own shares Sell up and move on | mknight
26/3/2019 09:44 | Can see you are not a believer . When we get 'real' news it will be earth shattering. Price shattering @ the very least. We are not privy to the plan. Very last chance saloon to get in @ this price. | mam fach
26/3/2019 09:42 | What a mess NM, has he lost the plot, no way in a million years will cornerstone accept his offer, what 35c a share, it's currently 38c, it's time NM stepped down from solgold, now a 3rd of the year gone with no updates, this guy is becoming a clown. | 1garythomas
26/3/2019 09:30 | I don't see how he can sort the Cornerstone issue before the announcement ! | shabadi
26/3/2019 09:10 | PEA has been dangled like a carott for far too long. Obviously NM wants Cornerstone sorted before THE announcement. Never thought I'd see it fall back all the way to 38p. How many buying opportunities does one need? | mam fach
26/3/2019 09:05 | There's other stuff going on. The PEA is clearly all but done, they may be dragging their heels because of the Cornerstone scenario. Whatever it is, the gold and the copper are still in the ground and the resource continues to be proven up. If they'd decided it was uneconomic they wouldn't be drilling 10km a month... When you look back at charts of companies like FMCN or FQM, back when their share prices were similar to here, they had set backs/pull backs too. It's natural on the way to production... | dmitribollokov
26/3/2019 08:53 | Good to see the always rational @discoveries commenting on latest $SOLG $SOLG.L (non)-news release #ecuador $CGP "...SolGold just announced a short delay in the publication of the Cascabel PEA. $SOLG also hasn’t published an exploration update for over 4 MONTHS now, while drilling with 11 drills!! What is CEO Nick hiding? (Still finalising his formal bid for $CGP as stated in Press release)..." | pob69
26/3/2019 08:50 | Simon Carter agreed Nothing has changed apart from we have to wait. Prefer this than a dissapointing PEA. | mknight
26/3/2019 08:48 | Billion pound company in the making targeting tier 1 resources. Newcrest in the GGP house funding the way. Tiny cap as was Solg. 68m hTtp://tinyurl.com/y | tidy 2
26/3/2019 08:45 | Shane about the news this morning, the way I see it we are in the same position as we were yesterday | simon_carter
26/3/2019 08:39 | Never seems to get into gear ODR. Supposedly the biggest copper/gold find on the planet but seems more like a wet bar of soap! But the reality is that nothing much has changed, lets see how long it takes to deal with CGP. I notice the PEA will also cover benefits to Ecuador as a whole, this plainly needed by the government to demonstrate to the population the benefit of mining. | lefrene |
