Ritson is full time now, but does less now than when he was part time. There's no point in him being there, other than to constantly place and dilute shareholders.

Helium is in the distant future. Will ritson dilute this share before then? Highly likely again and again then kaput and we will all be at a loss.

Interesting bit on use of Helium from Chemistry World -" There are many different industrial uses of helium gas, from specialist atmospheres in the semiconductor industry; to purge and pressurisation of liquid oxygen or hydrogen rocket propulsion systems; to specialist welding and the lift-gas in blimps. Of special note, there is not yet any replacement for the unique physical properties that allow liquid helium to maintain the ultra-cold temperatures enabling the superconducting magnets at the core of medical MRI scanners or particle accelerators." Let's non-chemists, like me, understand why helium is important.

You're right but I just think he hasn't got a clue how long everything takes so raises the money for the drilling but forgets is got to pay all the company's bills and running costs and his wages until the drilling starts and then realises he's spent the money so can't do the drilling, yes technically he is lying but I feel it's like more incompetence which is not a good quality for someone running a plc.

Either way I think the company's fortunes in rest on ukog and HH and what the results are of their flow tests, hopefully he doesn't see it as a big payday personally when it should be the catalyst to fund all the projects we have

He told shareholders that money had been raised to drill N3 and then spent it on Helium 1. It was a complete lie by Ritson retold today in the report. The company has no money as a result. Ritson is a spiv, imo.

whoppy not sure about dishonest but think he is totally out of his depth and doesn't realise knowing about oil and mining is the same as running the company and making shareholder value rather than poodle in the long and creaming off a decent wage over the years

Analysts read it without a short term trading bias...SOLO OIL+ (SOLO, 5.8p, House Stock) – Interim results. Coinciding with Aminex+, Solo has released interim results for the six months to June 2017, reporting revenues of £0.45m (covering G&A costs) and cash at the period end of £0.5m. In today's release, Solo reiterates recent strong progress at Ruvuma in Tanzania, which has included successful completion and testing of the Ntorya-2 appraisal well, a very significant resource upgrade and successful field development plan submission. The company also confirms average daily production from Kiliwani North in the first half of 15mmcfd, very much in line with our expectations. Solo's Tanzanian activities have, in our opinion, been strongly reinforced by the company's acquisition during the period of a 10% interest in Helium One, which is a highly complementary addition we believe and is targeting drilling in FY2018. Elsewhere in the portfolio, at the high profile Horse Hill discovery onshore UK, Solo anticipates the determination of planning consent for the next stage of the work programme (including long term flow tests and further drilling) in October 2017 and, in the meantime, takes considerable encouragement from drilling success in several analogous Weald Basin projects. Following a major resource upgrade in Tanzania and with Solo reporting today excellent progress across the portfolio, we continue to anticipate upside to our last published Risked NAV estimate of 18p/share. Aren't the statements in the RNS that they raised funds during the year for Ntorya-2 and Helium 1 rather misleading, they raised the funds for Ntorya-2 and then Ritson got conned by the magic bean seller and blew a large chunk of the cash raised for Ntorya-2 on helium without any consideration that he had completely messed up the finances of the company given its obligations for spend in Tanzania; I for one was under the impression the dilutive placing (yet again) was for Tanz and we would be fully funded for our share of Ntorya-2 next phase.

This action has resulted in where we are today, totally screwed with another likely highly dilutive placing on the cards to replace the cash Ritson blew on helium.....

Funny that.... The Ritson effect in full Technicolor glory....
