06/4/2020 09:42 | NM will do what he thinks is long term best for the value of the company. CGP is plainly a problem that muddies the water, I would not be at all surprised to miss Wednesdays deadline, the company has form. Good to see gold ticking up this am. | ![]() lefrene
06/4/2020 09:34 | I agree with you but until it is made public i will have my doubts . NM has not the worlds greatest track récord. The Rns said expected within 4 weeks .. He could put an Rns out tomorrow saying we expected it within 4 weeks but now because of CV it will be delayed by another 2 weeks . | ![]() mknight
06/4/2020 09:28 | My point is that MRE3 will almost certainly be issued on Wednesday as it is inconceivable that anything preventing that from happening is not already known. | ![]() lowtrawler
06/4/2020 09:25 | Maybe but you need to look at all possibilities good or bad . | ![]() mknight
06/4/2020 09:21 | They will look incompetent if they leave it to this week to decide that CV prevents them from issuing MRE3. If they new earlier, they had to say earlier. More than missing the deadline, the incompetence would tank the share price. | ![]() lowtrawler
06/4/2020 09:18 | They could do that today tomorrow or wednesday Am .Using CV as the reason . It will drop the price but nothing would have changed long-term. | ![]() mknight
06/4/2020 09:09 | Having announced to the market that they would issue MRE3 by Wednesday, they must do so or make another announcement as to why this is not possible. Such announcement must be made as soon as they decide not to meet the Wednesday deadline. | ![]() lowtrawler
06/4/2020 09:04 | Probably think Mre3 will be delayed which is possible . | ![]() mknight
06/4/2020 09:02 | Someone is dumping blocks of 112296 share today, roughly £20k each. That will help fill the MMs short. | ![]() lowtrawler
06/4/2020 08:56 | Lowtrawler Not in love with stock . Thats why i spent the weekend trying to find something else . Gold strong today . | ![]() mknight
06/4/2020 08:52 | I wouldn't be invested here if I didn't agree with you but they say love is blind and I think you have grown overly attached to SOLG. While the rewards outweigh the risks, the risks are still real. | ![]() lowtrawler
06/4/2020 08:46 | Lowtrawler . I think it is fair to say the stock has more upside potential than down . Spent the weekend looking for something better and couldnot find anything . | ![]() mknight
06/4/2020 08:35 | It's a nice start to the week for the market in general and SOLG appears to have picked up from where we ended last week. Remember, the MMs are still short of stock and so the price is going to have to rise. One note of caution, the general market still looks to be caught in a bubble of denial about the financial impacts of corona. There is still a sizeable fall to come and SOLG is likely to move with the market. I don't know when this rude awakening will happen but be mindful for it. | ![]() lowtrawler
06/4/2020 07:12 | Good morning Plenty of reasons for us to push on today. 1. Futures up over 3 % 2. ISA 3. No Rns today so either tomorrow or Wednesday we should have Mre3 . | ![]() mknight
05/4/2020 20:56 | Lefrene I will take another look in more detail . Thanks | ![]() mknight
05/4/2020 20:37 | mknight, the AAZ mine life will be extended, they have 32 prospects nearby, some with exceptionally high grades. Everything to operate the mine is paid for, no debts, extracting 200 oz a day, with $25 million in the bank and an extra $20 million facility if they see something they fancy. A low all in cost and with cheap oil that cost has likely fallen. It pays a good dividend, the management is exceptional and has a lot of skin in the game, and has ALWAYS without fail, delivered on the talk, unlike Solg. Take a look at their website. | ![]() lefrene

04/4/2020 08:52 | As the coronavirus pandemic rips through Ecuador, some cities are struggling to cope with a deluge of fatalities, pushing residents to make harrowing pleas for help as the bodies of loved ones accumulate in the streets. The port city of Guayaquil, around 260 miles south of the capital, Quito, has been hit especially hard in the outbreak, leaving hospitals and morgues utterly overwhelmed in a flood of new patients and deaths. With local authorities unable to keep up with the influx of casualties, President Lenin Moreno has created a task force to tackle the problem, tapping Jorge Wated, board chairman at BanEcuador – a self-described “public development bank” – to lead the effort. Seeking to ramp up the collection of bodies, Wated has allowed funeral homes to sidestep a nationwide curfew to work into the night to gather the deceased, and has dispatched teams of soldiers and police to pick up corpses from homes, hospitals and even streets around the city. The efforts have still fallen short, however, sending countless citizens to social media to make desperate pleas for help, appealing directly to Wated through his Twitter account, where he shares frequent updates on the grim task at hand. | ![]() loganair |
