I haven't been so much in cash as I am now for a long long time. Liquidated most of my pf this last week. Have always believed Trump will win. Could be proven wrong yet however but feel he will do it.

SOLG however is one of two stocks I've not touched. Remain long here and a firm believer in its prospects.

Cascabel is characterised by fourteen (14) identified targets, world class drilling intersections over in length, and high copper and gold grades, as well as logistic advantages in location, elevation, water supply, proximity to roads, port and power services and a progressive legislative approach to resource development in Ecuador. To date, SolGold has drill tested only one of the 14 targets, being Alpala with 23,700m of drilling, over 18 holes, 16 of which have intersected the deposit and of these, four have delivered world class intersections, each over 1km in length.

SolGold's planned resource statement at Alpala (the most advanced target at Cascabel) has been delayed by the discovery of high-grade mineralisation in Holes 15R2, 16 and 17 at Alpala, extending the immediate resource potential. The Alpala deposit is open at depth and in the upper extensions, as well as to the north, north-east, south-east and south-west. The mineralised zone at Alpala and Moran is closely modelled by magnetic signatures and currently encompasses over 10Bt of magnetic rock expected to be mineralised with copper and gold.

I have e mailed the company re the delay in resource statement so you never know they may e mail me back although wouldnt bet on it

I had a look on the web site as I know that the resource statement planned has been delayed but no mention has been made regarding how long this delay might be? Has anyone tried to contact the company for any info? Whilst scawling I do recall liking the following:-

Drill hole CSD-15-012 is the most recent hole drilled on the project and was completed at a depth of 1683.0m. Final assay results from high grade porphyry copper gold mineralisation returned WORLD CLASS INTERSECTION of over a kilometre downhole. Copper‐gold mineralisation was intersected in two distinct zones that SolGold geologists expect will coalesce into a broader zone of high grade mineralisation at depth.

The fun will start if they find and prove a feasible resource that is close to the surface. Then we might see several predators keen to acquire a major site with decades of potential life, but with an easily accessible starter to provide early cash flow that will help subsidise the deeper resources later on. Getting close to cap of £400 million, but no reason why it shouldn't be 10 times that if Cascabel lives up to expectations.

Cascabel is a whole different ball game altogether and there is so much more interest from at least one predator. There was none of this in the past

Just what the chart says Bill. All going well we will see solg revisit the dizzy heights of 80p and beyond.
