Smithson Investment Trust plc announces that on 7 January 2025, it purchased for holding in treasury 80,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at a price of 1,467.11 pence per share.

Following this transaction, the Company has 46,818,928 ordinary shares held in treasury and 130,289,030 ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of ordinary shares in issue is 177,107,958.
