30/11/2001 11:17 | The people who paid a 2p premium this morning ,Must be fuming. | inflatables
30/11/2001 11:01 | A message to the two mms controling this stock price 2x 6,410 shares bought at 78p 1x2500 sold at 71.25p 1x2500 sold at 73p How do the above trades this morning warrent a 2p price drop Any information would be much appreciated Thank you | inflatables
30/11/2001 10:41 | Yes, but to pay premuim for any stock must mean that the investor has some faith in the upcoming figures. Yesterday somebody bought 10k shares and paid approx 5p premium. | shortermer1
30/11/2001 10:29 | You're buying quite alot more stock outside NMS that's why regardless of whether's there's news or not. I think you can pick up 2k of these without being charged a premium but the last trade shows a quantity of 6410 and this is a very illiquid stock, so the premium is to be expected. | lucas buck
30/11/2001 10:24 | SOME GOOD NEWS MUST BE IN THE PIPELINE | inflatables
29/11/2001 17:35 | shortermet1 Part of my approach to investing was to come up with a consistent way of calculating a 'fair yet conservative' PE, bearing in mind ordinarily PE is reasonably impacted by sentiment. At the moment my 'fair value' PE's for shares on my watch list are generally higher than actual PE, but of those on my list and there are less than 10. At the moment SLM is streets ahead of the others on my list in all respects and has a fair value PE of 19 similar to chopsy's valuation. Thought you might like to know. Do you have any other shares that you can recommend ... I will see what their 'fair value' PE's are? | alfwilson
29/11/2001 14:53 | The interesting news bit on the premium BB is just a post to say that someone bought 10k shares this morning when the price was 70/73 but had to pay 78p for them. I can only guess that this due to it being larger than NMS. None-the-less it is an encouraging sign that someone is willing to pay 5p premium on SLM. I'm still confident of seeing the 100p mark pre-results. | shortermer1
29/11/2001 14:49 | shortermer1 Thanks. It must be on premium site only? Investtech chart comment has SLM (and SUS) as a buy. What is the 'interesting news' on premium site today? | alfwilson
29/11/2001 11:56 | Go to toplists and then click on the chart break out list. It might only be available to premium users only. But take a look at the graph for yourself. 100p pre results IMO. | shortermer1
29/11/2001 09:40 | shortermer1 Where will I find this stock list of chart breakouts on ADVFN? chopsy I agree with you that this share is worth a PE nearer 20, but the reality is that it is nearer 7, so I will settle for a £1 price short term. | alfwilson
28/11/2001 21:38 | Also, ADVFN have on their stock list of chart breakouts. Looking rather good IMO. | shortermer1
28/11/2001 17:07 | Very tightly held stock. NMS is only 2k so anything over this size will no doubt move it. Should see it hitting new highs in the run up to results. | shortermer1
28/11/2001 16:52 | Results will be out on time (announced for 13/12/01)- no delays. Forecast eps +/- 10p At a pe of 20 (deserved as the annual historic and projected eps growth rate is way over this more like 50% average) the price should be £2-00 per share by Xmas. IMHO & DYOR Here's to the forthcoming re-rating. Best wishes to all for a merry Xmas. | chopsy
28/11/2001 14:34 | this is going to go to £1 | money loser
13/11/2001 13:50 | Anyone know what has been the main catalysts for the recent price falls? | paulus3
16/10/2001 14:50 | mcooke I have to agree with you ... immediately following 11 Sept I baled out on everything except SLM and SUS ... have not been disappointed. | alfwilson
16/10/2001 13:47 | One to tuck away for the long term IMHO. Nice dividend yield, and the dividend forecast to keep increasing. Quite small so it's share price seems to be volatile in the shorter term. The sector it is in is not very highly valued, but the track record of Slimma seems excellent, and if the management can keep this up, this company will keep growing and the shareprice with it. In the meantime you can just keep collecting the dividends. | mcooke01
16/10/2001 11:04 | named as a buy on 15 oct in inesttec.co.uk | keithr
26/7/2001 20:35 | Slimma will undubt | crita
02/6/2001 00:16 | Slimma got mentioned again today in INV CHR "....... and at 53p still a buy" cheers Djal | djalan
02/6/2001 00:10 | I hope biomax is still holding. I sure am holding this baby until it hits £1 then I will reassess. | money loser
25/5/2001 14:39 | Biomax - you still holding this?? Hilly | hilly
17/5/2001 07:59 | Biomax - thanks very much. Thought you might say something like that! Sounds good. Hilly | hilly
17/5/2001 07:44 | profit tripled, yet the share rose only 14% - fully valued? lowly pe about 3-4 (FY projected 1.5-2 mln) and yet, growth 15-20% hence peg is only 0.2 ( which is 5 times less then average peg for cos on LSE!!!) therefore, 1 quid should achievable on very conservative estimates, imo Some newspapers recomended "sell" on Arcadia 6 months ago when it was 45 p, now 270 p, "buy" on Autonomy at 30 quid, now 4 quid, etc list could be long make your own judgement | biomax |
