09/12/2008 07:50 | Roommove... Slap me round the face with a kipper... :-) Do you know what, I was so excited about the results that it hadnt fully dawned on me regards full year results. Shame the market are being such idiots in the way they handle the buy/sell limits though. | whites123
08/12/2008 10:57 | Whites123, if the Stock wasnt so bloody illiquid then i would be buying. Only 2 market makers a present. 10K buy this morning so they may have a little stock. | john henry
08/12/2008 10:48 | whites123, you do realise that your comment about profit being half mrk cap comes from an interim statement!!!! With 'strong' trading continuing imagine what the full result will be. | roommove
08/12/2008 10:46 | Fantastic results. Dividend is the icing on the cake and at .5p a share very healthy! HCS contributed £72,000 turnover and £15,000 profit in just one month. I have asked the company several questions regarding the illiquid nature of their listing. The dividend kind of explains it. Directors buy up most of the shares then when the company makes money get a nice payout. Much better than getting the money for failing imho. One day these will rocket, I will keep holding until they do, I may even add after these results, if its possible to buy any! | roommove
08/12/2008 08:36 | Absolutely cracking results. Profit after tax equates to 50% of the company valuation.. Growth in these times running at circa 30% is phenominal, and the icing on the cake... Interim dividend and hopeful of final dividend.. If you dont hold anymore John, perhaps now is the time to aquire a stake whilst the majority of PI's are not investing cash into the markets.. It won't remain hidden for long, and when the markets turn the corner then little gems like this will really sparkle. | whites123
08/12/2008 07:49 | I dont hold anymore, but excellent results. | john henry
03/12/2008 11:29 | Interims came out 3rd week of december last year, if they repeat their time scales (which they did for full year results) then results could be out in just 2 weeks. | roommove
25/11/2008 08:48 | Interims due this time next month? Will be interesting to see turnover/profit. | roommove
07/11/2008 19:48 | More buying going through today, got a feeling this is going to pop soon. | roomove
06/11/2008 09:45 | Nice find and yet more good news. The spread is still killing things although I note someone is picking up 10k every now and again. I have been hounding management a bit with a few questions and been offered a meeting. If I can find the time to take up their offer I will let you know. Was going to go to the agm but my meeting in London has now been cancelled and I cant find another excuss to get down there at present. | roommove
05/11/2008 12:55 | 05 November 2008 Sky High has recently added roadside air quality monitoring to its range of services in an exclusive agreement with the Signal Group, leading UK manufacturers of gas analysers, systems and accessories for monitoring emissions to air. Sky High has exclusive rights to undertake air quality surveys on behalf of clients using the StreetBox urban pollution monitor. The StreetBox was developed to monitor the air quality effects of traffic flow, providing real-time recording of local pollution levels. Using a microprocessor-contr A wide range of sensor configurations is possible, with options for up to three electrochemical gas sensors, PM monitor, met sensors and sound. The logger has the capability to record up to several months of time-stamped 15min averages. All data gathered is held in memory by an on-board lithium cell which allows all operational settings to be retained without external supply. The StreetBox Urban pollution monitoring service from Sky High will provide local authorities and other clients with a cost-effective means of gathering air quality data for local air quality management studies and environmental impact assessments. | mmelody

25/9/2008 12:27 | Have a look at LSE:NES. Michael Jackson is a non executive director there. Looks a very similar story to this one (although nowhere near as illiquid) ending with a buyout. | roommove
25/9/2008 12:03 | Just been going through the report again. The forward looking statement gives some figures for the first 5 months of the current trading year. With a month to go revenues are already well ahead of the first 6 months of last year. Its very rough but using last years figures it suggest that this years turnover could reach £6m. HCS is already pulling in big contracts and I like the fact they are targeting local authorities, police, nhs etc. Last year HCS had a very very good profit/earnings ratio. If this is maintained it is going to add a considerable amount of profit in the future. Non of this solves the liquidity problem of course although I am begining to wonder if there is good reason for this (3 board members own 75%, currently not paid so only way of benefiting is company sale in future? The company is becoming highly profitable so could attract buyers but they would only succed by agreeing a price with the directors). I have put some questions regarding this to the company, if I receive anything useful that can be posted Ill put it on here. | roommove
25/9/2008 09:42 | jh, tightfist, agree with posts although I dont feel we will be waiting several years JH. Interims could be out in December if they follow lasts years dates and if profits are around where I expect them to be and growth continues as expected something will have to give imho. Current mrk cap £1m, potential turnover £5m+, potential profits after tax £300k+. Its horrendously illiquid but at somepoint in the next 12 months it will rise im sure. Would be nice for the management to now start tackling the illiquidity and news flow issues whilst this growth is occuring. | roommove
24/9/2008 22:27 | Roomove, The 20k @ 8,3p yesterday was mine; first purchase since the shell company. They do look exceptional value to me but I won't be adding lots more - the liquidity aspects and lack of interest in AIM right now are dampeners. But value will out - sometime ! Cheers, tightfist | tightfist
24/9/2008 16:40 | Because they are so illiquid, Holders are locked in until some one decides to buy. In this Bear market, you can forget stocks like this. Could be several years before any interest comes back to AIM stocks let only SKHG. | john henry
24/9/2008 14:07 | Im tempted JH but I think I have enough. Why wont you? Too illiquid? The spread is actually only 10% if you buy and sell around £1k. Putting these away long term, imho they will come good at somepoint, the forward looking statement added to current performance is just too strong for these to continue at this valuation for ever. Interims will be interesting as I know they have won several very large contracts this period, would not be surprised if the 6 monthly profit is not far off the recent annual one. | roommove
24/9/2008 13:29 | why not buy the 10k then roomove, you can be sure i wont be. | john henry
24/9/2008 13:26 | Surprisingly 'liquid' trading available at the moment. Buy 10k at 9p, 25k at 9.5p. Sell 10k at 8.16p and 20k at 7.1p. One more 10k buy will get this moving imho. | roommove
23/9/2008 11:57 | I do agree JH, current market conditions mean a well run company can struggle at the moment. Will only take one decent buyer (or seller) to get this moving though. | roomove
23/9/2008 09:08 | Maybe roomove but you try selling them. Im afraid any holders are locked in at these prices until buyers return and they want return imho, until liquidity is improved. | john henry
23/9/2008 08:36 | Someone picked up 20k at 8.3p, fantastic price. Hopefully its the start of someone trying to buy in. I have talked to the company about illiquidity but its not something they would comment on. Id like to see 1 or 2 million shares placed with insti's to raise cash and/or maybe a 5 for 1 dillution. If buyers come in dillution will be a small price to pay for the potential upside. | roomove
23/9/2008 08:16 | Its managed a small tick up! Wonder if the directors will buy more now? | roomove |
