The cream is being manufactuated purely for the trials. The freeze-drying is for long shelf life and transport to the manufacturers of the end product.

SP TO FALL MORE : it is fact that no trials can commence, without a stable formulation to apply on the clinical trial volunteers.It is simple, look up clinical trial regulations, they would be breaking the law. There will be another RNS before SEPT to announce the delay in the trial start date , unless, miraculously, they reformulate the compound to arrive at a stable formulation, beyond the current 24hrs. I hate to be a prophet of doom ( as I am both an OPTI and SBTX long term holder), but I expect the share price to fall even more than it has today, bacK well under 19p in IMHO and DYOR.

Judging from some of the comments, you can only wonder how the likes of ray,mshilo make money in the market. They don't of course. As thick as they come. The saving grace, they won't make money out of OPTI or SBTX. I'm cool with that.

No hiding the fact it was a shocker of an RNS this morn. Vague and ambiguous. The technology is sound but the cream formulation is a concern, just 5 weeks to confirm stability (for an unknown period, but one would assume at least the length of the trial!) else the trial will be delayed which would send a bad signal to the market. I think there is a lesson to all holders that SBTX is not without risk.

when you take account of SOH clarification, there is nowt negative in that RNS, only positives. Some folk are playing games on here today, trying to move the share price down!

I agree with you Matt and if the trials do not start in SEPT, as expected, due to this RNS set back, then a new RNS need to be issued to confirm the delay and so the share price will drop below 20p imminently and even lower, in a week or so , possibly back to 16p or lower IMHO.

If there is negative news then obviously supply will come to market and lower prices will be required to search for the demand. The levels which showed resistance on the way up will be potential areas of demand if prices do go lower.

John in reply : I stand by my opinion that the clinical trial will now have to be delayed and there will need to be an RNS to confirm this once they know when it will take place. The share price will fall to the initial April 2017 price or lower until we have trial results. This is still in its infancy and far far away from a profit generating business but the potential is huge hence the recent share price price rise based on sentiment and potential alone. This RNS is not good news...it will drop more ...IMO. DYOR.
