14/5/2018 12:09 | It is just as likely that OPTI will off load its SBTX holding if an M&A deal develops for SBTX from a large corporate or sell the holding in bulk to II's. | bobalot
14/5/2018 11:50 | Peeps - It is futile teasing yourself at this stage, fun as it may be. Slarty is right about TW's statement regarding the percentage of divi. However, as Raf has demonstrated, the maths do not support this. Christina, Per and SOH all have options to, so this effects the dynamic. My view is the divi will most likely be in 2 tranches and I would hope a commercial deal signed-off before the divi; this will help mitigate the temptation to cash them in straight away, as many OPTI holder already hold SBTX. I could be wrong, but I don't see anything happening with the divi this side of September. This doesn't mean I expect news around this time either, I just mean it will be post human trials....If I have my calendar right. A major ceiling is just a 1p away. Anyone on the sideline seeking an entry may want to wait for the fib retrace c38% or 68% being the peak from the recent breakout. It's what allowed me to get my OPTI at 15p just when I though I may have missed the boat. | elrico
14/5/2018 11:42 | Here's that new patent announcement today...really good news. SkinBioTherapeutics files new patent application Manchester, UK - 14 May 2018 - SkinBioTherapeutics plc (AIM: SBTX, the "Company"), a life science company focused on skin health, announces a new patent filing. The patent application is to cover the use of SkinBiotix for increasing filaggrin levels in skin. Filaggrin is a protein which is vital to the formation of the outermost protective layer of skin. If filaggrin is absent, skin tends to become dry and irritated. It has been shown that those with severe forms of eczema can have half the level of filaggrin as a healthy individual. Work performed at the Company's laboratories has demonstrated that SkinBiotix can significantly increase the amount of filaggrin in human skin models. This is the second successful test of the Company's technology, following earlier proof that SkinBiotix increases the 'tight junction' which exists in the inner layer of skin. The observation that the technology can improve both the surface and inner layers of skin suggests that SkinBiotix will be therapeutically useful in a range of conditions, such as eczema. Dr Cath O'Neill, CEO of SkinBioTherapeutics, commented: "SkinBiotix is continuing to prove its uniqueness as a platform via scientific testing. Following the successful work in skin models on fillagrin production, we are looking to increase the value and scope of our intellectual property with the filing of this patent." "This is a continuation of our strategy to create an IP portfolio that allows us to robustly protect what we believe is a technology of significant commercial value in key global dermatalogical markets." 14th May, 2018 | bobalot
14/5/2018 11:32 | As I said all figures are approx. JJ, I don’t know but that is just my assumption that they will divest the lot either in one go or over several tranches. Time will tell. | rafboy
14/5/2018 11:31 | I'm working on 1 for 3 to allow for advisor fee's and in part not to build my hope that TW is right for once. | slartybartfaster
14/5/2018 11:30 | TW previously stated 1% for every 1%. I have no idea if this figure is from AR or SOH. He didn't pluck it out of the air. | slartybartfaster
14/5/2018 11:29 | OPTI are holding 49,794,190 SBTX Shares | asterix96
14/5/2018 11:28 | rafboy, you are out by 1.9% of which is a larger OPTI holding, not 40%. | slartybartfaster
14/5/2018 11:24 | raf, How do you know Mr OH is giving all of Opti's holding in SBTX back to Opti shareholders? | judijudi
14/5/2018 11:18 | JJ/Rafboy - many thanks - appreciate that its not known, just interested to hear what fellow holders think - 0.589 for each OPTI share held would be great - although I think that OPTI will likely retain a small holding Rafboy ? Many thanks for your feedback, J | jimmylufc
14/5/2018 11:13 | I have worked it out like this. SBTX has 118.71 million shares in issue approx. OPTI own around 40% of SBTX so roughly 47.48 million shares. Opti has 80.9 million shares in issue so 47.48 / 80.49 = 0.589 SBTX shares for each OPTI share held. Someone no doubt will show how my calcs are incorrect. All figures are approx. | rafboy
14/5/2018 11:09 | jimmy, Nobody yet knows what the criteria will be | judijudi
14/5/2018 10:59 | Fair enough Aspex. | semper vigilans
14/5/2018 10:55 | Aspex - so do you mean your entitlement would be over 100k shares in SBTX once OPTI issue the SBTX dividend ? if so what criteria are you using for the distribution ? Thanks, Jimmy | jimmylufc
14/5/2018 10:36 | The share price will be challenging the 20p range fairly soon. At the moment it is following the same trend as OPTI did some years ago....excellent news the IP portfolio is developing and expanding. | bobalot
14/5/2018 10:34 | SV. Here purely as an investor but if fully issued my entitlement would be comfortably over 100k shares so I have not bought any SBTX directly. | aspex
14/5/2018 10:11 | deeppockets ...no .. seen the bid 17.25p a few weeks ago. | onedayrodders
14/5/2018 09:44 | If you want more SBTX, buy some! If OPTI need cash they can always sell some SBTX. I suppose it depends on whether you are a trader or investor. | semper vigilans
14/5/2018 09:38 | Hi shrewd. There would be a benefit in spreading the SBTX issue over a number of four tranches (for example only) so that there is no benefit to traders. That could start right now at the front end of the tax year to enable tax planning.Just my penny's worth as I am not UK resident so am unaffected. | aspex
14/5/2018 09:25 | is this the highest they've been? | deeppockets
14/5/2018 08:30 | Aspex not yet imo I think soh wants Opti and Sbtx at far higher levels before that. Sbtx has plenty to go yet. | shrewdmole
14/5/2018 08:19 | About time to give the OPTI holders a small bonus. | aspex
14/5/2018 08:16 | I think this may well prove to be one of my better investments long term. | rafboy
14/5/2018 08:12 | There's no stock about here at all the MM are stumped even for small amounts. If we had any kind of volume we would be knocking 20p. | shrewdmole
14/5/2018 07:48 | Thanks guys. Starting to get very exciting here. Such a low market cap. | shrewdmole |
