142 started the trial. Only 91 finished. = 51 people dropped out of the trial. (I don't think you'd stop taking a free product if it was doing any good - so assume the 51 were -Ve.)

Of the 91 that finished, the highest +Ve response was 75% = 68 people.

So overall 68 out of 142 reported positive = 47.8%.

Therefore less than 50% of the people who started the trial responded positively. Probably similar to a placebo (had they used a control in the trial).

Also, the questionnaires used were highly unscientific and misleading imo.

a) Since you started taking AxisBiotix-Ps™, how has your skin felt in respect to the following:

Participants were given the choice of four possible answers to each question: ‘No change’, ‘A little’, ‘A lot’ and
‘Very much’.

So they were given choices that were scales of positives. Not a free choice of positive or negative.

i.e Is your sleep a) better b) worse c) no change is an unbiased question. Asking how much better your sleep is is NOT an unbiased question.

This 'study' is little more than a marketing gimmick imo.

The placebo response in psoriasis is very low because the readout is objective; you can see it. That is not true in most other diseases. And assuming your analysis is correct, even a 47% response is very impressive.

As I have said before, my former company started using psoriasis as the first look see for any new immunosuppressive. They chose psoriasis for the precise reason that the placebo response was low and it gave the most reliable results.
