08/4/2019 08:14 | Overnight miracle cream lottery ticket buyers now exiting | onedayrodders
08/4/2019 08:13 | Cath was "really pleased" ..considering they have to temper their enthusiasm that's pretty bullish. I guess we'll understand more with the proactive interview which will no doubt follow soon. | onedayrodders
08/4/2019 08:09 | Good point Risky. We need Cath to make these points in interviews she will no doubt be doing this week. | deeppockets
08/4/2019 08:05 | Someuwin expected a miracle cream. No wonder he is disappointed. How about a reality check?? This is fledging Science in a new field. There are bound to be some hiccups along the way. | gostaa
08/4/2019 08:04 | Interesting to see the one liner negative posts ... so transparent for ones own agenda | onedayrodders
08/4/2019 08:04 | Guys remember this is healthy skin. It's quite hard to make healthy skin even more healthy. An indication of its effect is very good news. Also once your skin gets to a certain moisture level it can not get any better which is what I assume they mean by day 49 has no impact. | riskybusiness1
08/4/2019 07:59 | Now the results are out it hopefully won't be too long before we see a partner signed up. | parob
08/4/2019 07:57 | Not showing but share price is actually slightly up (L2 has 3 at 20) | spike_1
08/4/2019 07:54 | "At day 29 there was no difference in skin hydration between any of the groups." I'm unsure who the word "groups" is refers to. Does it mean age groups (same effect in all age groups) or the three trial groups noted (same for those who didn't use the active as those who did). Any ideas? | alanrussell
08/4/2019 07:53 | yes deeppockets, if we had seen multiple adverse reactions, that would indeed have been a duster, in fact a disaster. seeing inprovments in the older clients tested with a decrease in TEWL. Over the standard carrier cream. That as Dr. Neal stated is significant. | belgrano2
08/4/2019 07:49 | ) A statistically significant increase in skin hydration at day 15 with the active, which was better than that produced by the vehicle. This effect was seen in the group under 50 years old. At day 29 there was no difference in skin hydration between any of the groups. Does that mean the skin hydration of the under 50s went down at day 29 or the over 50s caught up? | nik7907
08/4/2019 07:46 | Safety was the main aim so looks like that was achieved. | deeppockets
08/4/2019 07:43 | Can’t see these results attracting many buyers but no need to sell either. Clearly it works to a degree which can be improved with tinkering! Be interesting to see what SOH says. | rafboy
08/4/2019 07:42 | I thought the trials were to confirm safety - upping the formulation of the dosage is the next move? | semper vigilans
08/4/2019 07:38 | It did work in older women:A small but statistically significant decrease in TEWL with the active at day 29 in the group over 60 years old. | parob
08/4/2019 07:37 | Didn't work on older women, the biggest market. Goes to Kath's careless comments at the show about needing to tinker with the formula. More work needed here before this can move towards commercialisation imo dyor ofc. | rathean
08/4/2019 07:35 | Perhaps they will now find a partner and work with them to optimise the formulation. | parob
08/4/2019 07:34 | As I said results are never a nobrainer as some posters seemed to think. While the results are not great they are by no means a disaster but looks like further tinkering needed | best1467
08/4/2019 07:33 | thats a success not a duster, someuwin. So using our product improved skin faster in all groups, and the more damaged your skin is (or older ), it has a greater effect/ improvement. Makes sense, healthy skin does not need it, however the older you are the worse your skin gets through natural aging and sunlight damage, so it will improve skin for this age group....their the ones that need it anyway. | belgrano2
08/4/2019 07:17 | The change in skin hydration and water loss are IN LINE WITH OUR EXPECTATIONS from laboratory studies which have shown that SkinBiotix(R) increases the levels of proteins within the skin that are crucial for a healthy barrier. | parob
08/4/2019 07:16 | In O&G terms - this looks like a duster to me. | someuwin
08/4/2019 07:07 | Dr Cath O'Neill, CEO of SkinBioTherapeutics, said:"We are really pleased by these data. To show efficacy at this stage of development is very exciting since there is a lot of scope for us to further optimise the formulation, potentially altering the dose of the SkinBiotix(R) to make it more suitable for different age groups. It is very difficult to change a healthy barrier and therefore the data showing improvement in some age groups gives us confidence in our partner discussions, and in seeking to develop future applications in disease conditions where the barrier is known to be poor such as eczema". | parob
08/4/2019 07:06 | Not great results imho | f3rdinand
06/4/2019 08:16 | Good skin results here over the next couple of weeks should give OPTI an extra boost and the timing couldn't be better as the share price breaks out. | parob |
