Indeed. We now have PROVEN EFFICACY remember it's the technology that will be out licensed NOT THE FORMULATION. That can be tweaked to suit the corporate. One hell of a bounce coming when the market catches on

Sure didn't Cath give us a shortened version of to-day's news a week or so ago. Of course many of us are disappointed - waiting months for this breakthrough moment. A doubling of share price was suggested by some, with good reason. Now it's back to wait-and-see routine. One's hopes are sustained by (a) not negative results (b) recent £1.5m equity take-up and (c) high-grade CEO coming on board. Patience !!!!

Good results imo. Will buy more when dust settles.

You can only hydrate something so much before saturation. With skin it takes 29 days apparently. But don’t stop using the cream or your skin will get progressively drier. Remember that the skin cream is applying an effect on top of an effect which, in this case is provided by the skin itself. In such cases and using a sample of healthy adults, it’s difficult to get a significant result. The fact this has happened is great news.

Some tinkering with dose would be helpful to optimise efficacy. For now, let the shorter shave their fun

Huge bounce coming here, in fact I'm predicting a BLUE finish. I spoke with Cath at length at UKI, these results are VERY GOOD! Nailed on commercial deal with global corporate - all will be explained later today. I was expecting this market reaction and have been adding all morning!

Nailed it. If it improves already healthy skin, It bodes well for damaged skin.

It's not groundbreaking but it was never going to be groundbreaking on healthy skin that will come later on diseased skin. To show improvement in healthy skin is really good news no matter how market has taken it. I think it's the curse of Cath O'Neil RNS she basically gets the regulator to write the RNS. That's what it looks like anyway.

No adverse side-effects shown in all volunteers. Shows a solid platform to Adjust possible formulation.

Cath was "really pleased" ..considering they have to temper their enthusiasm that's pretty bullish.

I guess we'll understand more with the proactive interview which will no doubt follow soon.

Good point Risky. We need Cath to make these points in interviews she will no doubt be doing this week.

Someuwin expected a miracle cream. No wonder he is disappointed. How about a reality check?? This is fledging Science in a new field. There are bound to be some hiccups along the way.

Guys remember this is healthy skin. It's quite hard to make healthy skin even more healthy. An indication of its effect is very good news. Also once your skin gets to a certain moisture level it can not get any better which is what I assume they mean by day 49 has no impact.

"At day 29 there was no difference in skin hydration between any of the groups."

I'm unsure who the word "groups" is refers to. Does it mean age groups (same effect in all age groups) or the three trial groups noted (same for those who didn't use the active as those who did). Any ideas?

yes deeppockets, if we had seen multiple adverse reactions, that would indeed have been a duster, in fact a disaster.
seeing inprovments in the older clients tested with a decrease in TEWL. Over the standard carrier cream. That as Dr. Neal stated is significant.

) A statistically significant increase in skin hydration at day 15 with the active, which was better than that produced by the vehicle. This effect was seen in the group under 50 years old. At day 29 there was no difference in skin hydration between any of the groups.

Does that mean the skin hydration of the under 50s went down at day 29 or the over 50s caught up?

Safety was the main aim so looks like that was achieved.

Can’t see these results attracting many buyers but no need to sell either. Clearly it works to a degree which can be improved with tinkering! Be interesting to see what SOH says.

I thought the trials were to confirm safety - upping the formulation of the dosage is the next move?

It did work in older women:A small but statistically significant decrease in TEWL with the active at day 29 in the group over 60 years old.

Didn't work on older women, the biggest market. Goes to Kath's careless comments at the show about needing to tinker with the formula. More work needed here before this can move towards commercialisation imo dyor ofc.
