17/9/2016 09:59 | MRT When you have been investing as long as I have, you will realise that there is always an element of risk to investing in the stock and NOBODY(not even the Sage of Omaha vis a vis Tescos), gets it right all the time. I note you are still calling me a liar, which shows what an ignorant, stupid, half wit you really are. | azalea
17/9/2016 08:22 | MRF There is nothing as stupid in accusing investors of loosing money in SPL, when you have no specific evidence to prove same. You must find it bewildering to be told that some investors have in fact made money from investing in SPL and can prove it chapter and verse. Its a question of timing, sport. In this case you got it wrong, in more ways than one. | azalea
17/9/2016 08:03 | To be honest I wonder whether these posters hold any of the shares at all. I am convinced they are paid professional 'spin' posters to ramp stocksI mean they always seem to adding or averaging down ...and must have lost a fortune in some of these dodgy companies | jailbird
16/9/2016 23:39 | If this opens higher than 10p then some might be gifted an opportunity to exit - but, I fully expect single digits. | yasx
16/9/2016 23:28 | PJ1 I do not think there was insider knowledge. I held 90k and it just hit me in the afternoon that if something went wrong here or a heavily discounted fundraising I could lose a small fortune so I decided to sell. The initial problem was the mm's were only bidding 15k online but to my surprise I managed to sell 4 lots of 15k before the mm's cut the limits. When it dropped to 20p bid I sold the remaining 20k +5k in seperate accounts. Like I said earlier I've had a very very lucky escape here. That Rns could have come out any day this week and I would have got stuffed big style. I feel for anybody still holding, maybe the mm's will be asleep and not mark it down too much Monday and allow others to get out while still double figures. | hatey
16/9/2016 23:22 | PJ, You are wrong. You see, there is very little indication of any wrongdoing. Only a paltry amount of hares were traded, and this fell just over 10pc. It has been falling for months and that is due to the clearly obvious impediments facing this outfit. Do you really think the Nomad or regulator cares one jot about a few hundred thousand shares being traded in a day prior to the announcement - that amounts to comfortably less than £100k, so, if there was any spurious activity as u allege, it was hardly worth the effort. I really think you need to read a book for beginners, as I previously suggested. | yasx
16/9/2016 23:18 | Jailbird, I have encountered Someuwin on a number of threads - based on what I have witnessed, it is fair to say if his choices were scrutinised by Trading Standards he would have to change his pseudonym to All'U'Lose to reflect reality. | yasx
16/9/2016 22:31 | Surely the NOMAD has to suspend the shares? a) clearly someone had inside knowledge this afternoon which was used to trade (sell) the shares therefore causing at the time a false market, then b)The chances are this entity also has more accurate information than all other Investors regarding overall funding, and therefore not all are on a level playing field and again the result is a false market. edit- Is it still possible for the powers that be to reverse trades where there has been a false market? | pj 1
16/9/2016 22:11 | The amount of money being asked for i.e. Much higher than I expected and now will be raised at single figures.Could be looking at 400-500m shares in dilution !!! | jailbird
16/9/2016 22:03 | Azalea ... Azaliar... Lol | jailbird
16/9/2016 21:47 | Spot on Yasx - called this one right to a tee. But didnt you have a predicted price of pennies, well we are not far off that ! Sagacious advice indeed! | escapetohome
16/9/2016 21:15 | Not one of Paul Scott's (Paulypilot) best investments. | harebridge
16/9/2016 21:11 | Come on chaps, admit you still hold the shares!! yasX3 Apr '16 - 13:47 - 7635 of 8361 There are two outcomes about which the gracious chap is rather confident. The first is that this will head to nil pence. The second is that all those who were suggesting this was undervalued at 80p (and continue to suggest the same) will, when it reaches nil pence, state they sold at 80p but failed to declare it at the time and were nothing but mere observers. I refer to the likes f PJ, Marvelman and other novice punters. I will remind them of this at that point. | yasx
16/9/2016 20:58 | azalea16 Mar '16 - 12:09 - 7564 of 8361 MM yasX is not making statements of fact,if he were, they would stand on their own without any need for qualification. Why do you waste your time responding to him? -------------------- Yes, why? Instead you could take the view of Azaliar and lose more money..... | yasx
16/9/2016 20:55 | marvelman10 Mar '16 - 09:14 - 7519 of 8361 0 0 Why don't you answer that YasX...if you have done your research then you should know and not be needing to ask me. -------------------- Of course, I was not asking him - the question was a rhetorical one - he was too thick to get it.In goes the boot - thud. | yasx
16/9/2016 20:54 | Playing out as anticipated... yasX 10 Mar '16 - 09:33 - 7521 of 8361 Marvelman, Read the second paragraph of my post 7477, which appeared before the news today. That is exactly what has happened. Here is what will happen next - this is not the final delay. There will be endless delays, and I rather doubt the port will ever be constructed, or if it is, existing holders of equity will be wiped out with endless dilution needed to pay for delays. The announcement today leaves me in no doubt that delays will be a hallmark of this company going forward. Indeed, they have already been delayed several times, and more delays are to be expected in my view. | yasx
16/9/2016 20:53 | That they required more funds was clear from the announcements months ago - hence the inevitable decline... yasX 10 Mar '16 - 08:56 - 7513 of 8361 0 0 Edit HugePants, Of course - they reason they have flagged it today is not some well founded sense of transparency, but it is, in my opinion, a heads up that funds need to be arranged. Plums on here do not see it, but, they have their heads stuck in the sand. | yasx
16/9/2016 20:49 | Clue after clue.... yasX 7 Mar '16 - 22:46 - 7446 of 8355 1 1 Edit Sometimes an investor might think he has spotted an opportunity - but the reality is that the opportunity has spotted the investor. That is what attracts a lot of these overseas outfits to list on the lightly regulated exchanges in the UK. | yasx
16/9/2016 20:47 | George Short 14 Feb '16 - 22:52 - 7351 of 8355 0 0 Yas, thank you. As you say, time will tell... ------------------- Indeed, it did. | yasx |
