It's not so long ago that they claimed a fixed price for the build with ITD Cementation, that presumably is now just a pile of pork pies. The rest of the dosh was coming from an expensive loan 13'5% interest! I agree PJ1, some honest open clarity needed. How much is really in the kitty, how much needs to be paid out to get this thing up and running? How long to get enough quayside finished that it can be used.

We know it's the monsoon, we know they have slowed on the piling, so stop pretending that things are going ok and deliver some hard believable facts.

A market cap of £9.5 million seems low for a facility that should in due course have circa 200 acres, but then of course we don't know how much more of others peoples money they need to throw at it, and the market finds it hard to believe what the board says. Perhaps our Baron Flight might have a bit more credibility there?

Yes Saucepan, not an unreasonable theory. But Mr Ghandhi could forget coming to London for any more sure thing whizzo schemes.

hatey- if they do, and I'm not sure they will place, then any flipper and this is a close to a penny stock. The NOMAD needs to be doing there job properly here.

How realistic is this as a scenario: the Company runs out of funds and files for bankruptcy; existing investors get nothing; private individuals buy the ruins of the business for a nominal fee and enjoy the fruits of those who put the money up on AIM?

Just flying a kite here, but judging by the share price behaviour, increasingly, something looks drastically amiss.

Surely they cannot dilute down at these levels, It would be bordering on suicide? The last thing they want is a ''flipper'' taking part in any discounted placing.

The Board needs replacing not adding to, deal with the problem don't mask it, which is what they are doing.

Gandhi gambled his reputation and lost, amazed the II's have tolerated it. But then again who do they put in to continue the Project?

I took the hit earlier, just unlimited stock offered earlier and the fear of fundraising at a discount were reasons.

I hold MRS and it was racing along to a high of 17p bid nothing stopping it good stock
and then bang out of nowhere a 10.5p placing so my guard is up now on stocks that need
more funds. Just wish I had paused and had a rethink before buying in the first place.

Indeed a "surprise on the upside" such as a preliminary agreement with an end user might be an idea. But this has become a typical AIM company, unable to deliver anything on time or within budget, but not so slow when it comes to rewarding directors. Evidently whatever magic touch the Baron might have, it ain't working yet.

Suspect you are correct there phowdo re the forward selling.

The Broker and Nomad should have advised them to pass the begging bowl around the city when the shareprice was 70p+. At these levels its going to be nigh on impossible to raise the cash needed.
Can tell the RSPs dont want shares. Any selling and they jump off the bid and they are perfectly happy to sell loads within the spread. Forward selling the placing no doubt.

The share price is not in 'flight' indeed it's in fright, evidently the market underwhelmed with the Baron's credentials. This crew need to be seen to be delivering something that can be seen to be working, something that is earning some dosh. It simply can't come soon enough. No doubt the Baron has been wheeled in as window dressing before passing around the begging bowl, and this from a small group of directors who manage to spend over a quarter of a million each year on 'travel expenses'!!! An updated video wouldn't go amiss, unless of course progress is so paltry that it would be an embarrassment.

I feel a more relaxed about SPL now Lord Flight is on the board.

He is well respected in the City running his Guinness Flight fund and he even has links with India and government connections in both UK and India.

My guess is Flight will be behind whatever is going to happen next and if he believes SPL will do well he will be instrumental in any fund raising exercise.
