04/1/2016 14:03 | Thank you osirisra. You have added clarity to this bb. In the next 3 years this will no doubt be considered one of the bargains of the age. The price being paid has to be considered in a 'moment in time context'. Also RDS intends to buy back a large quantity of the added equity in the next few years. Makes tremendous sense to buy back when the share price is cheap...it certainly benefits the long term equity holders especially. The long term holder may well benefit in current terms due to the low price and therefore higher dividend and in due course to higher returns as oil prices rise as the equity is bought back cheaply by rds. It is only the short term that prblems arise. Knock me if you believe this to be wrong, but before doing so think it through. | scobak | |
