RNS Number:8777P Ashtead Holdings plc 08 August 2005 Ashtead Holdings plc 08 August 2005 Ashtead Holdings plc Notice of partial redemption Ashtead Holdings plc announces that on 4th august 2005 in accordance with the Indenture dated 16th April 2004, as amended by the Supplemental Indenture dated 12th November 2004 ("the Indenture") amongst, inter alia, Ashtead Holdings plc (as issuer) and the Bank of New York (as trustee) pursuant to which the Issuer's 12% Second Priority Notes ("the Notes") were issued, the Issuer notified the Holders of the Notes of a partial redemption of the Notes pursuant to section 3.05 of the Indenture and paragraph (a) section 6 of the Notes as follows: Record Date: 3rd August 2005 Redemption Date: 5th September 2005 Principal Amount of Notes to be Redeemed: #42,000,000 Redemption Price: 112% of the principal amount of the Notes redeemed ("the Redemption Price) plus accrued interest on the Notes redeemed to, but not including, the Redemption Date of approximately #41.33 per #1,000 of principal amount. The Notice of Partial Redemption was published in the Financial Times of 4th August 2005.
