28/1/2005 07:32 | Some excellent posts here recently & thanks Nobby. Ive said it before but this scenario reminds me of the probs GCM had in extracting itself from the Wassa mine debacle - caused by problems with extracting the gold from rock combined with gold at $220 per ounce rather than the current $420. GCM found it very difficult to motivate the Citys legal eagles and banks to get their fingers out to finalise agreements to advance the orderly transfer and closure of their interest in Wassa. The probs with STN's proposed business project do not appear to be of their own making! | bongo bwana
27/1/2005 21:38 | Lawyers looking at the problem . Not resolved yet I'm afraid. You will be first to hear when I know more! Nobby | nobbygnome

26/1/2005 07:42 | As I said, I don't think it is a major issue and could have been resolved by now. I should know more later on today. I know everyone is frustrated about the delays and clearly this should never have taken this long. However, I am still sure we will get there in the end. Peter is now taking more of an active role in making sure it gets sorted out! Nobby | nobbygnome |
