Result of Annual General Meeting and Retirement of Non-Executive Director

London, 24 June 2021 -- Serica Energy plc (AIM: SQZ), announces that the Company's Annual General Meeting (the "AGM") was held earlier today. A poll was held on each of the resolutions proposed. All resolutions put to the meeting were duly passed at the AGM and the results of the poll are set out below:

Retirement of Director

The Company confirms that, in line with previous notification, Neil Pike has retired from the Board of the Company with effect from the close of the AGM. His role as Chair of the Audit Committee is taken over by Kate Coppinger.
