09/10/2018 13:24 | DH Sounds like the same person? If he mentioned Arthur Browns crazy world of fire or Jenson cars that would probably confirm it. I believe if its the same person he is probably getting on a bit maybe late 70's or 80's now. He was a fountain of knowledge on the EEN bb about 13 or 14 years ago and I believe contacts were at board level, but as you mention his posting went a little erratic. Think his son might have been involved with some senior level headhunting firm in the city as well. fyi one of the EEN directors and their COO (Paul Ellis) moved to SQZ and was CEO under TCW for a short while. | captainfatcat
09/10/2018 13:15 | Panagos the expert on GENL...Tease him about VST... | fardels bear
09/10/2018 13:08 | love the name dunderheed, plenty of them in my school days (should be spelt heid)!! any of you o&g guys have views on GENL, pros and cons ? | arab3
09/10/2018 13:01 | Same chap.. He seemed to have south London connections as did I briefly decades ago.I was in HAWK actually made a profit but lost all of it n another of that charlatan's flotations..Did change my name... Lot of nutters on here in those days. | fardels bear
09/10/2018 12:59 | Ah....i wonder if its the same Bobobob from my old EEN days. A knowledgeable guy | pineapple1
09/10/2018 12:52 | Well he was just called bobobobob then I think so maybe the same? He was weird though - kept on talking about his family and their respective amazing connections etc and threatening people with court cases etc? Oh f me - he was the biggest (self proclaimed) expert in the world about e&p stocks as well lol! | dunderheed
09/10/2018 12:49 | Is the bobobob your referring to bobobob5 by any chance? | captainfatcat
09/10/2018 12:38 | FB, is bobobob still posting on here - what username does he go by lol? He was around at the time of the hawk debacle wasn't he? Were you posting as FB then or another version of bear as I was definitely on here then and posting there? bh - yes I've got a few of them IOG and want to buy some more actually as SQZ (hopefully) goes up in value - I may have to release some of these for IOG - but to be honest whilst quite different propositions they both are excellent? so nice decisions to have? | dunderheed
09/10/2018 12:32 | Sold all my neverwozzers to buy the i3e so I think I'll wait and see.. | fardels bear
09/10/2018 12:22 | EOG, CLNR, forever waiting, IOG performing well though | bountyhunter
09/10/2018 12:21 | I think you need to be able to sell at a loss if you can improve your position elsewhere. I3e could double next week on funding or maybe not. SQZ should rerate now and next six months but the East Africa show as ramped by bobobob5 will never amount to owt, IMHO . | fardels bear
09/10/2018 12:11 | One of those impossible decisions | fardels bear
09/10/2018 12:10 | No I'm way down | fardels bear
09/10/2018 12:08 | Apologies FB -no I realised you were already 'here' I meant to average up! Yes I think we had a brief chat about I3E b4. I didn't buy any then. Hopefully though you're still in profit at I3E? It'll be interesting to see what happens when USA opens today? | dunderheed
09/10/2018 12:04 | Not to get in Dh. I'm already in... | fardels bear
09/10/2018 11:18 | Ah lol GG! Me I bought this morning around 103p - about 57k I think? dcarn - f me was going to post to you after yesterday - f'ing brilliant if you can get 7 figures in isa and congratulations!! I just seem to get all me losers in my isa and all my 'winners' (ahem - not many lol!) in my trading account. Nice. FB what you considering selling to get in here? Best of luck all! | dunderheed
09/10/2018 11:05 | and without the geographical risk of many others. | dcarn
09/10/2018 10:50 | Precisely. | fardels bear
09/10/2018 10:49 | With all that cash hitting the balance sheet and no debt they are going to have other transformational deals at their finger tips in a few years. Apart from some natural profit takers this is the beginning of the rise to much much higher prices over the next few years. Why seek out other companies with all the execution risks involved when SQZ offers up an excieting opportunity to make a shed load of cash as we have some visibility now with the news today. There are a few oilers out there with good prospects but many have the ever present threat of piles of debt or no money to develop. Serica has none of the first but will have loads of the second. imho | pineapple1
09/10/2018 10:47 | DH, No I got 25k last night at 82p. Just before the share price dived lol. No fill this morning. Buy order at 98p, not chasing currently as I have plenty already. | general george
09/10/2018 10:29 | Terrific news today - glad I stuck with it :o)) Hope some of the targets from others here are attainable.... Peel Hunt have retained their 134p target for the moment, and WH Ireland are reviewing their prior 118p valuation as follows: "Serica Energy's receipt of license and assurance from the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control is a surprisingly positive and price material development, WH Ireland analysts say. With the license having been a key requirement for Serica's acquisition of interests in the Bruce, Keith and Rhum fields from BP and Total, WH Ireland says it has placed its target price--previously 118 pence--under review. Once the deal is complete, Serica will present itself as a company with a strong balance sheet and cash generative assets, WH Ireland says. Shares are up 34% at 103 pence." | rivaldo
09/10/2018 10:16 | robo - I posted the latest on that recently if you check my posts over the last few days there is a link to the latest news; good point sawney, aligns with my thoughts earlier | bountyhunter |
