As that's the rights price, where there is nothing to drive the share price I think shares tend to drift down to the issue price. General sentiment here seems to be a 2 year turnaround story

Next stop 101p?

Why?

I think shares start quoting ex-rights on Monday. So today should be the last chance to buy with entitlement to rights at 101. DYOR.

Hi Dealy,

And what would these be, say for 2016?

i think you have to look at normalised earnings (after all the writedowns and after the equity injection). The revenue will still be there (growing in fact due to increased outsourcing activity) and margins won't be depressed anymore. That particular business will be strong and will have decent margins and growth.

Looks like your right - on valuation grounds its far from good value at the current price, long term things look much brighter but still not a buy for me

Somehow I would short it after the rights issue - on valuation ground and general election uncertainties.
The big players had all the time to cut/exit their position if they wanted too.

Im on the fence for the minute, waiting for the market to show me the way. One thing for sure is the chart looks like a plane crash, and therefore Id be uncomfortable with trading any bounce. But its all about making a profit, up or down who cares as long as you make money.

What do u think next guys? Maybe run up to 200 to close the gap and then down we continue...

Took a nice profit this morning on this after shorting yesterday. Never nice these things be careful holders, its not an investment at this price unless your a sucker for punishment.

Although if you don't take up the rights your nil paid shares could end up being worth about 40p per share.

Price looks to have been massaged up to accommodate the heavily discounted rights issue, huge dilution though if your not taking up the rights

you have to be a holder to have the right to buy at the issue price. ex rights price will be lower than the current price i don't expect this to fall significantly. maybe 180p today.

I don't know if u noticed but some institution went below 3% recently so that's not a good sign either.

Don't u think it might be priced in already? That sell has been in papers for some time now.

This has got nothing to do with gaps! It's all about the balance sheet.

FT reports that the Indian business could fetch 540m USD based on indicative bids. Bidding would close in April. If that comes true I doubt the company would need a RI which would put the heat under the short sellers. We could easily go back to 300p based on that outcome.

To be honest I don't see it closing that gap now. It bounced of 200 nicely and should retest recent highs and continue upwards however there is so much bad publicity and awaiting I think rights issue etc. My guess it will go to 230 and down we go again. Maybe new low... Good luck all

Decision time on the chart now - up or down, my guess is it will drop back to 200p and maybe hold that level, if dropping back through its anyones guess where it will get support

Serco continue to shoot themselves in the foot at Yarls Wood. Some things never change regardless of the smoke & mirrors plus friends in high places.
