23/7/2021 08:41 | 100% BIBI sold out before the account debacle came to light, my origibal concerns here was trading liquidity but for obvious reasons have now been superceded | plat hunter
23/7/2021 08:01 | I think the directors should have some of their own cash invested. | francisthornhill

22/7/2021 16:24 | They can't look anyone in the eye because they're sat at home looking into a camera for one and a half years | trader465
22/7/2021 15:53 | If I was CEO I would want to look local accountable people in the eyes (F2F) before I embarked on the next leg of the journey...... | tightfist
22/7/2021 13:22 | Nice idea but the only thing from stoping the price going to orbit is the accounts. They'd issue if done | borisjohnsonshair
22/7/2021 11:41 | I believe that the accounts are ready, awaiting signed off. But issuing a set of accounts with no oversight controls would, imo, not be acceptable. We know that there is a forensic team of auditors and legals involved. So I reckon they will be looking for some form of oversight from auditors in Brazil and a contract drawn up to that effect and there in lies the delay. We have been told that the amounts involved are not material, there are no black holes, we are generating cash and the exploration program moves forward at pace. Of course this is speculation on my part. | cotton4
22/7/2021 11:31 | Hi tightfist, Well from some of the transactions it does sound like the sums involved whilst not huge are definitely meaningful and did not have supporting documentation. I get that "this is brazil" but in this day and age that isn't acceptable in my book. If cash is insisted on by suppliers etc then new suppliers should be found. Any remaining cash transactions should require verification and sign-off by one of the board, imo. That would encourage the rapid transition to fully accountable payments - I can't see any of the BOD wanting to place their position in the hands of local management which is exactly what they should have to do imo. I think there is loads to like here - I'm just annoyed that these issues keep cropping up and hampering the development of the company. And I'd like someone else to be on the hook with consequences - they may find it acceptable that our investments have been negatively impacted by corporate oversight but I do not! Either they buy more shares personally to have their interests aligned with ours and whilst they have options that is costing them, they haven't actually paid out anything on those. | ppvn
22/7/2021 09:27 | Hi PPVN,Yes, we are largely on the same page with a similar outlook..Regarding imposing robust controls, I am genuinely intrigued how this is to be achieved, with operations on another continent. In post #3199 it was suggested that a very senior manager may be implicated and that remote collusion is difficult to counter. If the fraud involved signing-off invoices for work not actually undertaken (DYOR, speculation) then how practically does one out-source the transactions with accountability (as was suggested early on). A robust documentation trail followed by regular visits by MH with snap randomised audits comes to mind?.Will be interesting to see what they come up with - we need the market to regain 100% trust them again..Otherwise, IMO there's a lot to like here. Cheers, tightfist | tightfist
22/7/2021 09:02 | This is truly great stuff for Serabi, best window of opportunity for investors imo 22 July 2021 São Domingos Project "Surface sampling totalling 69 rock chip samples with an average grade of 8.33g/t Au over an area of 1.5km x 1.5km and a maximum result of 204.77g/t Au, reflects the prospectivity of the area." | golden prospect
22/7/2021 08:32 | Nice update today but as people have said and I fully agree these samples are a "nice to have" rather than a real market mover imo. I've held shares of varying size here since about 2016 and I must say the first time I've actually had a concern was with this accounting debacle. I too tightfist hope that they are going to announce some robust controls with senior accountability on the cash transactions; whilst they have largely dismissed concerns about the matter it is a concern and senior management should be responsible for scrutiny of these cash items in particular. Once I suppose I can forgive (begrudgingly) but I do think heads should roll if anything of this nature was ever to occur again. Fortunately with Coringa about to double production (well, in a couple of years or so) this share price should be a distant memory regardless of the exploration success that is being had; a doubling of production with cost synergies should lead to a c.3x rise in price and then exploration is potentially the real cake alongside the icing that is Coringa. All in good time; but its nice to be slowly reassured that things are progressing in the right direction and it wasn't a ridiculous move to invest here! Onwards and upwards! | ppvn
22/7/2021 08:28 | But they've been promised and it's on-going!! They can't stop the great news | borisjohnsonshair
22/7/2021 08:24 | " Doesn't match " | oapknob1
22/7/2021 08:23 | Hoping for a decent positive reaction when results do eventually get published. The gold grades speak for themselves. As a producer too the share price (imo) doesn't not match the level it should be at. | oapknob1
22/7/2021 08:16 | The point is surely that they are sticking to their words with regular exploration updates..During August MH will likely visit Brasil, sign-off the (IMO) collusion countermeasures and we will receive 2020 and H1 financials. And we get confirmation of the Coringa portal commencement. tightfist | tightfist
22/7/2021 08:01 | Not really - the accounts are pretty much out there and are known; and have been superseded by events since. But it is a necessary compliance requirement - until they are formally done, any good news will be most likely set aside. | imastu pidgitaswell
22/7/2021 07:59 | Getting good news out first maybe | oapknob1
22/7/2021 07:58 | Have to agree with rachael - no-one is paying any attention to these exploration 'updates'. Production, yes, but not this stuff. They will do after the accounts are published - so might as well wait until then. Not going to rehash that debate again (please, no...) and I'm not expecting them until August as they said, but issuing these RNSs ahead of the accounts is pointless. | imastu pidgitaswell
22/7/2021 07:49 | Why excited in July after they said August? This is great news. | borisjohnsonshair
22/7/2021 07:46 | oh ffs just publish the bloody accounts - the market isnt interested in prospective years away wishful thinking when the management cant get their act together and put some effort into providing actual hard data on the financials. Every tine i see an rns i think this is it - only to be disappointed (when in reality the news in itself isnt disappointing) | rachael777
22/7/2021 07:35 | More proof of this crazy bargain. Early birds here will get 5-15 bagger over next 2 years. | borisjohnsonshair
21/7/2021 13:27 | Tocantinzinho might be out of reach now due to market size but let's say they JV with someone like Amarillo, get to 200k production, then in a better position to take on these smaller projects like Tocantinzinho. | aimsurfer |
