tiger60 - I do believe the 875K shares traded over the last two days makes it "EXCITING". Took a few years to get the SD licenses at a cheaper price while POG is has finally returned to 2016 levels. Not buying the party line.

Ironstorm - To further add, to rush the "drill or kill" drill program goes against the grain of the conservative mgmt style. Are there any NI reports or assay results documented by the former SD license owners? Geophyics?

If "yes", shouldn't this acquisition and associated information be put in a formal PR. This is a major business event that should be shared with all share holders.

IronStorm - I agree with some of your points especially the fuzzy vision and lack of aggressive mgmt. The c19 excuse is in the rear view mirror as SRB returns to full operations.

The 12% drop in price does not match the % change in POG. MH boasted that he finally got the SD licenses after several years, and at a cheaper price. Interesting given POG has been the highest in 5 years. Given there was no mention of geophysics to be performed on the SD property, something our conservative mgmt team undertakes, and the underway road and drill pad construction, I believe the former SD license owners caught wind of the major and decided to sell with a under the table deal.

Why sell the licenses for a lower price? Does the "drill or kill" program need geophysics? The share price being taken down to feather the hats of the former SD license owners. Sell them some shares at a lower price to quench the deal.

Thanks PH.

The next 12 months should see plenty of exciting newsflow for Serabi, especially as substantial cash generation will give them strength to expand.

The Coringa acquisition for $22m (2017) should come into play.

Investors will hope for a great growth story in 2021.

I think there's been collective margin squeezing on gold stocks. Not just SRB and CEY struggling, but anyone unlucky enough to release news has been battered.

Market seems to view SRB currently as a pure-production company - not sure the expansion or exploration is gaining much valuation?.IIRC aren't we expecting a Sao Chico Resources update soon? Otherwise it's PoG movement for the balance of 2020 unless we get some left-field news..He was also keen to emphasise the immediate pace towards starting drilling at Toucano - just possible this is a precursor to a major getting involved?.Cheers, tightfist

Didn't he hint at exploration update within a couple of months?

They have hinted they can hit that even with a slight hold up in qtr1. The issue I have is we have to wait until qtr2 2021 results to see if we are back on track so the catalyst for share price growth is the gold price and expo results.

I was crossing my fingers MH would mention a major on site - that is the golden ticket

2021 guidance of 40k ounces would be nice?

So moving on - what is the short term driver (pre christmas)? For me it is the macro situation - gold breaking $2,000 and holding.

Are we expecting any exploration results this year?

Short-term? - have been with this for a long time on and off.

I agree with the positive prognosis going forward. My message is that the market sees this as a miss - which it is - short-term it may impact - but longer term the assets are finally developing nicely.

Shame we are not marching more firmly on BJHs £3 or so.

MH consistently portrays a thoughtful and optimistic style. Occasionally he gets caught-out (usually on timing) and maybe the Q3 shortfall been part of that trait - or is that over-analysing the situation? .Either way I don't feel MH criticism would be warranted - in the circumstances this year has seen a pretty stonking performance IMO. The ultra-short term perspective of "investors" is awfully predictable - but I suppose that helps create the market!.Cheers, tightfist

I agree - the forecast should have been more accurate. If they'd forecast 7,000 due to the logistical issues, the price would have risen. Company in GREAT shape, PR not good.
