Some smart cookie just got in £10k trade before close. Word will soon get out about Serabi. Clearly got massive increase of LOM. Might be clearing 150,000 ounces with US$1,000 FCF by 2023/4. Do the math.

DRILL THE PERRRRRRRR-MITS. Need to do directional drilling on SC and Cinderella to 1 KM depth with geophysics. Chase the gold source!!!!

"Perhaps the most encouraging result is, however, what is now the deepest intersection at Sao Chico, where hole 19-SCUD-333 has reported a gold grade of 25.37g/t over a width of 4.08 metres. This hole is approximately 200 metres below the current lowest development level in the mine and therefore nearly 500 metres from surface."

Bearing in mind this move by the FED is likely the precursor to coordinated CB actions this sets Serabi up really well for the next year or two in terms of gold price.

No wonder they headed down the CB route really - they now have the cash to do everything at once. Gold price is irrelevant if they can't pull it out of the ground...

Emergency 0.5% US rate cut, with more rate cuts this year priced in by the market. Opportunity cost of holding gold is getting lower and lower.

Good news today as well, 2020 is unfolding well for Serabi.

I am quoting MH, what was he thinking when he said it? IMO more than 100kOz attributable, in due course..Several big-picture options have been ruminated over the months - Major farm-in, Additional Processing Plant at SC, Onwards exploration further afield at SC, then at pace into the Anomalies, Cinderella - all come to mind.

Agreed, a good update RNS this morning. I particularly like "This step out drilling is significant in that it further highlights the potential in the Sao Chico area for new discoveries within the Serabi's tenement portfolio."I went back to the 21st Feb CRUX transcript and was reminded "Mike Hodgson: Yes definitely, I think the ease of mining at Sao Chico ore body, that's why we put a lot of effort on exploration now. We obviously get a bigger bang for our buck with our exploration work that we do there. If we do get a bit of a tiger by the tail there and, at the same time, the space that we're liberating by cleaning up the Palito ore creates more space to put through more Sao Chico ore, but we're not dismissing the possibility of being able to sort the Sao Chico ore as well. It might be a different way of doing it, but we are beginning to get some pretty good results on that"Is this RNS a tiger by the tail?! Maybe wrongly, I had the impression that we would see a resource update very soon, it is now scheduled for H2. There is a lot of drilling scope between now and then. Cheers, tightfist

I can see stimulus from the central banks, good for demand but if the supply isn't there, then we have inflation.

Agree with the GS comments but I must say - I have this sneaking suspicion gold is going to do really rather well this week but we'll see.

The head of commodities at Goldman Sachs is saying he still expects gold to reach $1,800 some time during this year.
