$

Three outstanding issues here holding us back

Qtr 4 will be a drag on financials with low bullion sales (6,000+), high costs (eqp. maintenance and bonus month) and write off of debt. But we wait for full financials to see full impact

Which face was ceased? As I understand it two out of the five faces contribute most of the output. Let’s hope from a purely investor outlook that the accident occurred on one of the ‘minor’ faces

Lastly, we need confirmation of the cause of the accident. If the company is anyway to blame due to poor practices, neglect etc then all operations will need review and official overview. This would be worst case scenario and hopefully not the case but let’s hope we get more info imminently and can take advantage of a gold bounce and extra boost to our balance sheet from the recent placing.

True but that's a week ago so maybe the work associated with preparing an exploration report has been held back. Anyway it was a loose comment in the interview re monthly news. Not specifically a month from the last one. You'd expect one before the 9th April

Boris .. why would morale have been down in February .. the incident was not until 9th March !?! Unless the weather was a bit dull or the national football team lost a game?

When this goes flying back above £1 some may wonder why they failed to enter below market placing of 75p!

Tiger60. In the last update they refer to "Production in the area of the incident", implies all other aspects of mining continue.

Fair enough but the news was tragic and also took the positive sentiment out of the placement, so why not update anyway?

Incident a week ago, so i agree with BJ that they would only update if they hadn't resumed as expected.

This time they suggested a few days. It's been a few days, so they'd only update if operations HADNT resumed. No news is good news.

I've just checked. Seems in 2019 & 18 the operations wasn't suspended. You are correct no update but why would they necessary before?

In the past I don't recall the company updating from such an outcome. So I guess operations resume without an update.

10 year yields at highs today but interestingly no detrimental knock on impact to the gold price. As the dollar which was tracking yields in a correlated rise are now diverging. This is significant because there is now a nod to inflation in those yields rather than an expectation of growth alone.

There is something that some might of caught but not mentioned that happened last quarter as well. Although MH heralded January as a month that saw production mirroring (or surpassing) Dec 2020 output he did not mention Feb. Now this may seem a bit picky but there is previous form on this and my expectation for Feb output is tempered.

Indeed a tragic accident and the formal findings are of upmost importance for our immediate expectations. I am not going to second guess the outcome but hope for official word as soon as possible
