24/8/2020 11:39 | I'm only guessing as it's been expected since before the end of Q2. I know Covid has slowed things but I'm not aware that the entire government is shut. I therefore expect a yes or no any day. I'm shocked not already. I know they can't withhold if it's bad news. Tomorrow seems more likely than Wednesday and Wed more than Thursday. MH said zoom call going ahead, hopefully, within a few weeks, over a few weeks ago!! It's the only excitement with exploration halted. | ![]() borisjohnsonshair
24/8/2020 08:49 | Noted tightfist . It was from Worldometers.info that I copied and paste and you are right .. the figures have changed since . I am guessing it might be a snapshot during the day and it’s a moving figure . Nonsense really and they should only report when the days total is confirmed . I see numbers for 23rd are : 23,085 new cases and 495 new deaths in Brazil [source] Which if final and accurate offer some further hope it is in decline . I believe Brazil is being used as a guinea pig for trials of a vaccine so hopefully this is proving to have no side effects . I do think this share is being held back by the Covid19 and until Brazil get it under control there will be a nervousness around investors attitude . No Covid then back to projected production and generating significant cash whilst POG is high . BJ quoting license very soon .. has anyone got any timescale on this ? Any reported date(s) ? | kennyp52
24/8/2020 07:53 | Hi Kenny,.Thanks. The data you posted is very different to "worldometer - Brasil" and on the face of it quotes a 82% reduction in new cases and 82% reduction in deaths over a two day time span and looks more like a reporting glitch than confirmation of a trend? For 22nd August worldometer quotes 46,210 New Daily Cases and 823 Daily Deaths, your figures were 7,901 and 224 respectively. Maybe I don't understand what these numbers represent..They do seem to have a similar reporting issue to the UK with unrepresentative weekend figures. The good news is that last week's New Cases were notably lower and the New Case 7-day moving average has now dropped 40,000 (per day) for the first time in a month..Regarding Coringa licensing, and with a more positive backdrop, here's hoping "the final stage, the meeting of the State Environmental Council ("COEMA") to agree and hopefully the award of the Licencia Previa" will be able to proceed fairly soon..Cheers, tightfist | ![]() tightfist
23/8/2020 23:13 | Tightfist ... I think my post shows a substantial reduction in Covid cases in Brazil so cannot see where you get “a different implication” from ??? Positive for SRB and more importantly hopefully Brazil . | kennyp52
23/8/2020 18:01 | Ok, I'll move on. I'm frustrated but still believe it'll go up 3-5 times | ![]() borisjohnsonshair
23/8/2020 16:41 | Agreed Cotton, we are on a journey targeting a return to full on-site crew during October. That is the important milestone - production and cash generation back on track (and possibly on-surface exploration resumed?) with a line of sight to minimised dilution. .It would be nice to be awarded the Coringa licence - but every month gained is another month where we need to fund the Coringa M&E, possibly by a new loan facility, or more CLN's. Delay a month or two and SRB must get close to pure organic funding capability if PoG holds up?.Cheers, tightfist | ![]() tightfist

23/8/2020 11:47 | License tomorrow | ![]() borisjohnsonshair
23/8/2020 11:47 | It's all good for Gold though. Developed world printing money and screwing up employment for millions, which they will then need to support with more printed money. Gold, Brazil and SRB will be winners very very soon. License tomorrow | ![]() borisjohnsonshair
23/8/2020 08:08 | Hi Kenny,.Looking at worldometers/Brazil one gets the impression (particularly on Daily New Cases and Active Cases) the country may have topped-out in the first three weeks of August and possibly now at the onset of a long descent, with the daily new cases now almost back at the July level. A different implication to the figures you posted?.We know that SRB are striving to maintain and expand a COVID microclimate; one does wonder if this national picture is most relevant to hopefully finalising the Coringa licence?.Cheers, tightfist | ![]() tightfist
