It doesn't matter what the price of gold is or how much a given company is producing, intrinsic value may never be reflected in the share price! The market is irrational and can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent

...and by the way. I don't care if it goes to 60p. The price today during these crazy times doesn't matter. It's all about increasing production to 100,000. Maybe that will be delayed 6 months due to macro issues. Does matter. If it's 60p it means I was right and you were wrong - IE how Corona effects the market. The future is what matters.

Europe and US will shut down and daily infection rates will reduce quickly. Markets will rocket. As soon as infection rates stabiles it's SHOPPING TIME. Great opportunity, so I'll make shot loads, however, would rather not at the expense of the dead. Horrible times.

It truly is carnage in the markets FTSe at 5500. Compare Footsie to DAX or Dow lows and it has been creamed. FTSE tracker for SIPP looks a good investment

It's got to come from somewhere? IIRC they talk about becoming a 100k operation - and a run-rate in H2 of 50k from Palito and 38k from Coringa - in my maths that makes a shortfall of at least 12k.......

They are meeting their guidance lately and the costs for Coringa have contingencies they don't believe are needed - 25%. 38k is awesome, so setting an easy but great target makes sense. Let's hope they'll exceed it.

No 38k is correct in the DFS but I think they'll increase that is all I'm saying.

Eternal optimism though...

38k is my recollection, I might be wrong.I agree re anomalies but that's medium or long term. Palito & Coringa in parallel can take us to a 1/4B business by 2022. Anomalies hopefully 1-2-1B business. Unless we diversify then we'd be taken over I suspect. Target 500p

The Coringa operation has a 750tpd processing plant whereas Palito has 500 capacity. I'm curious as to why the dfs thinks only 38k production out of a plant that's capable of 50% more and likely can be sorted too...

Plus the biggie for me is the anomalies...

Maybe but I consider the license for Coringa the biggy. Funds in place, so with license it's all system go to an extra 38,000 ounces per year. When that's online with Palita the business will be making millions. Almost it's current MCAP per year.

Although we have several potential imminent positive news from ore sorter, exploration
etc., the one that could move this share price more is probably the results for 2019 due around the end of the month. With a substantial increase in the pog and a substantial move in the Real v Dollar, the results should reflect increased revenue and reduced costs. The market reacts more to results at the end of the day.

BJH - SBI.TSX is down 9 cents CDN on extremely light volume. Most trades between 100 to 500 shares, and over $1.00 PPS, is bot trading. On one of my other gold miner stocks, the bot traders reload periodically with 4000 to 5000 shares, and then continue on with selling 100 to 500 shares per trade over 60 minutes. The cycle repeats.

SBI.TSX Level II after the 4:00 PM EST close shows 4 orders on the BID and 2 orders on the ASK. This stock is very tightly held for one reason - high grade economical Au. If you see a 2 share order posted on the Ask or end of day down tick on a 2 share trade, talk to tightfist about his some what unique trading style on the TSX.

But when you have Merkel saying up to 70% of Germans will be infected you realise the scale of this virus. I believe the economic impact will be immense - all qtr1 reporting will result in downgrades across the board.

Whilst not the cause of this crash it was the catalyst pushing inflated indices diving. it will be the start of a rather long recession I believe.

With this backdrop alone gold producers should be rerating yesterday. Obviously wrong but don’t know why

Aside from the award of the Coringa licence, there are plenty of potential value inflection points over the next few months - take a look at Bomber13's #5248 post - (1) is delivered, how much is in the sp?, how much is to come? tightfist

It is called "confiscation of wealth from the middle classes to the super rich" which over the past 10 years many people have been trying to warn the public at large is what is happening and what is going to happen.
