"Whilst we remain focussed on optimising the current operations, should the
improvement in gold prices continue and therefore provide additional
cash flow, we will be looking later in the year to evaluate some of our
mine site discoveries that lie within the existing tenements."

Very much in line with expectations. The real story is this current quarter with greater ounces produced and at a higher price. 2016 has certainly started on a positive note.

Rajaster; Yes, this is getting a little frustrating when other small Goldies are progressing.

Patience required - SRB results have been on 28th and 31st March for the last two years, so next week should deliver. Also the Q1 production figures have been on 7th and 16th April so news season is imminent.

Maybe it's time to revisit the 1st Feb Ops. Report and November Corporate Presentation and take a view?

Boffster,

Yes, SRB seems a sound bet, but if IIRC all the AISC figures so far have been purely for Pallito and that Sao Chico will now come into the frame as it is at production status. With the the debt funding now clarified it may soon be possible to take a fresh view on an overall FCF projection?

Cheers, tightfist

On a basis of 40,000 oz and a profit of $400 an ounce, would result in over £11m per annum. On that basis we're currently trading on less than 3 times earnings.

i'm still under water here.. so for me <5p is cheap still.

5p would still be way too cheap in my opinion.

And still significantly under valued.
At current gold prices ($1270) and AISC of $756, that should generate $19m of annual revenues or £13m, certainly more than enough to clear debt.

we are no heading back towards 4p.. just wish this runs longer to 6p+.. but still need gold to move about 1300+ to break out correctly.

its the inverse effect.. markets have recovered since fridays 5500 low. But I also see this as a retest of 1200 for gold.

Looks like the rally in gold stocks and gold is over for the time being.

Gold stocks getting hammered eg SHG.

SRB not fairing much better.

Assuming 37,000 oz this year and an AISC of $850/oz, its simple maths to work out what sort of an annual profit we're looking at, and in my opinion, leaves us significantly undervalued. Things should be very exciting once Sao Chico is up to speed, and even more so if the gold rally continues.

sp has finally broken out again.. looking positive now.. should see 4p again fairly quickly.
