when the last rns announced that the the potential acquirer was not proceeding, the share price was around 50p. its possible the company would have suggested that even that share price undervalued the company.

now we are at 18p, will the same company (or others) make an approach?

Any bid would have been under consideration since the first warning. I suspect the bidder would have been looking at around 75p, and may try something opportunistic now. But the product and the client base are high class here. It is a nice business to acquire, and although the recent news means that it can be got on the cheap, It could still prove a bargain at much higher than 30p. It was 200p not that long ago...
