Thanks battlebus. Begbies are the liquidators of SRG Realisations, so I think everybody should get the final payment in due course. The previous c. 5.75p distribution or 5.25p offer (if you received and accepted it) were both related only to Rochdale Devt't AIUI. This final payment is presumably coming from dregs of cash in the holding company.

I may be wrong!

I suspect there's only one type of holder left and they both get the final 2.7p? Has the cheque come from "SRG Realisations" battlebus?

In case anyone held SRG with Hargreaves Lansdown...a share cert for Rochdale Devt shares has gone missing in the post. To be reissued in due course, so some delay.

As anticipated by somewhere here, I have received Rochdale shares (instead of cash) with another broker using nominee account. Rather suspect that will ultimately be better than the cash payout, but only time will tell. Used to waiting here!

interceptor2,
General meeting is on the 26th of this month and they say they will pay the second dividend asap after that.
There should be a third and final payout once all the affairs are sorted.

Looks like the final chapter is close now with smaller shareholders under 100k shares to receive a final cash payment of approximately 5.73p a share, and larger holders to receive new shares in Rochdale.

I am certainly in the smaller shareholding group as I expect many here are, a nice little new year bonus and conclusion to our investment.

Can't see a date for the general meeting but it must be imminent because the last date for letting Begbies know of intention to attend was 18th December.

Wishing all former holders in SRG a prosperous and happy new year.

The majority of assets have been distributed although a number of assets remain including Rochdale Development company, this has some considerable value which will be distributed as a cash dividend as an alternative for the Rochdale shares, details will follow in a few weeks.

BEG have confirmed that they're aiming to send out funds on 2/10. Makes sense as SRG had a deposit maturing on 30/9.

Same here bb - but you have to be very careful. I don't think I've ever been done over by a delist but I'd deffo stick with UK stuff, and only when the reason is a wind-up.

Holding shares in a delisted Malaysian (?) company sounds pretty scary.

I own quite a few SRG. Trimmed a few b4 delist but kept the bulk. But it's all very uncomfortable, and it has been a long wait here - I really think they need to make it much harder to de-list. There are cases when it's obviously the right thing to do but plenty where it's not. In this case SRG has probably saved c. £1m by delisting, so Harry Hindsight says great!

Sama Graphite Inc. (“SRG”) – (TSXV: SRG) is a Canadian-based resource company focused on developing the Lola Graphite deposit in the Republic of Guinea, West Africa. The Lola Graphite deposit is one of the largest surface graphite mineralizations in the world, with an area of 3.22 km2 of continuous graphite rich gneiss. SRG owns a 100% interest in the Lola Graphite Project. Sama Resources Inc owns a 49% interest in SRG

The Lola graphite deposit is located approximately 1 000 km east of Conakry, the capital city of the Republic of Guinea. The Lola deposit graphite mineralisation is well exposed at surface along its entire strike length, with samples grading up to 20% Cg (large flakes) and can often be seen in higher concentration agglomerates.

Additionally, the first 20 m of the deposit are well weathered, freeing graphite flakes from the silicate gangue, thereby allowing for easy grinding with an optimal recovery of large and jumbo flakes.

The Lola graphite occurrence was originally discovered by BUMIFOM (Bureau Minier de la France Outremer) in 1951. BUMIFOM dug 309 pits in the oxide material, performed numerous metallurgical tests and drew up blueprints for a proposed on-site processing facility.

However, shortly after Guinea’s declaration of independence in 1958, the project was abandoned and subsequently forgotten - until Sama Resources “re-discovered” the deposit in 2012
