Here's Schachter's take,

SDX has had a very successful drilling program in Morocco and it’s in the process of bringing on these natural gas wells. They get a very high price for this gas at US$9 per thousand cubic feet (mcf) versus C$1.70/mcf for gas sold in Canada on the spot market. We have a one-year target of $2.00 per share and our bull market target into 2022-2023 of $5.00 per share.

SDX has no debt and US$30.5 million in cash at the end of Q3/17. We expect production to double in 2018 from the Q3/17 level of 3,439 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d). Year-end 2017 results should be out next week. The stock trades at two times our annualized 2019 cash flow. SDX has a lot of high-impact drilling to occur this year that could materially affect the value of the company longer term. In Egypt at their S. Disouq property, they will spud later this month a high-impact well at Ibn Yunus (target of 150 billion cubic feet).

I look in on LSE occasionally. Have they changed the format there, or are there gremlins in the system ?

If you ask me, my guess (stab in the dark), is that this company is being primed for takeover at mates rates. There should still be some considerable upside though, although nothing like what it could be.

There is no chance of dividends here in my view, most of the cash flow is going on CAPEX this year and next.

Divis might attract investor attention and could even give a really nice yield, without spending too much. But I don't think that would fit with their game plan regarding acquisitions.

At some point we might just start to see a return on this. Either they'll start handing us some cash back or the production numbers will become so significant that they'll be bought out.

I think we've had at least one early stage investor getting out for months now, selling into any good news because liquidity is higher at those times and large sells have less impact on the share price. My reading of the situation is that the willing seller(s) is diminishing, which often means an order is near completion.

If I'm right, we may well be on the verge of a break-out to the upside on further positive news.

Funny how there's been 2 discoveries and the share price is up 4p off it's lows since the LTIP was announced 8 days ago, call me cynical!....

They had some drills coming up in Niger, which would have made a huge impact on the SP, of they had come in. Instead the CEO decides to do a RTO with Seven.

So mkt cap goes up tremendously, but the share price is about half of what it was last year.

On the plus side the entire entity is less risky than it was before and there are additional sources of growth (in the future), but the short-term big impact on the share price as a result of Niger success is now gone.

Don't really know anything about SAVP Haider. Perhaps a quick summary if you wouldn't mind?

shakey let's hope that he's not using the same strategy as SAVP to achieve it.

Going back to the production figure, were likely looking at $2.5 to $4m net annual revenue from this one well, after all taxes etc.?

PW wants to build a $1 billion market cap company (not sure if that is US dollars or Canadian, either way it's much higher than current market cap). Make what you will of that.
