13/9/2017 12:49 | Yes - I can buy with a limit order but it just looks like they're trying to hold the price back. | ![]() someuwin

13/9/2017 10:18 | Re the SD seismic.... hmmmm.... it would be interesting to know if Kelvin was initially seen as part of the target structure for SD-1X. As for the oil hunt at SD, it strikes me as very much on the back burner - maybe the partner at SD wanted to focus on the gas & some cashflow? It'll be interesting to see the state take at SD. | ![]() thegreatgeraldo
13/9/2017 10:17 | There does look like there might well be a tonne of gas in Egypt in and around SD1X, Kelvin and Bragg. The September corporate presentation pages 18 and 19 (from memory) showed loads of potential gas-sands. | ![]() shakeypremis
13/9/2017 07:55 | Gloucester rugby,Good post. Sums it up well. The potential for oil is there, they can go after it at later date.Cash | ![]() cashandcard
13/9/2017 06:31 | Just my thoughts: There has been some discussion as to absence of any targeting of Oil on SD and the imminent 4 well drilling campaign. If we look back to immediately prior to SD1 drill the share price was around where it is today or even slightly higher,. I remember Malcy,s statement that should SD show significant gas it could be a company maker, let alone Oil!. It was the interview PW gave where he indicated that the team had identified potential Oil bearing sands on the Seismic and would decide to drill deeper than originally intended. We know the history now,the absence of a definitive reservoir, although strong indication of source rocks, distracted PI,s from the "transformational" Gas find. I remember PW saying that the Seismic was so accurate that they encountered each section within feet of the images. We are now in the position that the Gas find is potentially one hydrocarbon system across the block that the Well flow at a restricted rate of almost 26mscf. That the next two drills should produce a plateau rate of around 40 to 50mscf. With the placement SDX is targeting potentially 80 to 100mscf ( net 55mscf ) that would indeed be transformational, 8,000 boe per day, double what we are producing at the moment. The potential of producing 12,000 BoE onshore by end of 2nd qtr 18. (let alone Morocco!). So I suspect PW will keep quiet about finding oil but that doesn,t mean that the team aren,t confident. The quality and interpretation of the Seismic seems second to none and if we secure a GSA at $3 to $4 we could be looking at almost doubling our Free cash flow! I do not think that the market understands this yet. The difficulty SDX has is that it is not a one trick pony and it is difficult for the average PI to get their head around multiple zones and a double digit drilling programme. However once the market does begin to wake up and realise the incredible potential, no debt and significant cash and transformational upside it may be too late as the free float and market cap is so incredibly low! | gloucester rugby
12/9/2017 20:44 | 51p I think the TSX was closed yesterday so it's just catching up (and jumping a little ahead) of our rise. | ![]() ieh fan
12/9/2017 20:38 | How does that compare to our shareprice | ![]() jamdan1
12/9/2017 19:05 | TSX wooshing up to .83 | ![]() ieh fan
12/9/2017 18:19 | The big spread was of course another trick from the CF book to keep the price supressed? Small rise today, chart looks like a launching pad for another woosh soon hopefully. | ![]() novicetrade68
12/9/2017 18:03 | Surely this is all good for Egypt's oil and gas companies. Whatpt should benefit from attending BRICS: experts By: Egypt Today staff Thu, Aug. 31, 2017 CAIRO – 31 August 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi will fly to China to take part in the BRICS Xiamen Summit, upon the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, among the most growing economics in the world, like Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. BRICS is recognized as an important force in global governance. China holds the BRICS presidency this year. The participation of Egypt in such economic summit means that world economics trust the Egyptian economic reform program and gives it a chance to promote its investment opportunities. Economist Khaled el-Shafei affirmed that Egypt’s participation in international economic summits proves that it returned to its international role politically and economically. Besides, it enables the Egyptian team accompanying the president to hold joint meetings with the world’s largest economics and encourage them to invest in Egypt. The population of the group's members account for 42 percent of the world’s. It seeks to achieve economic, political and geopolitical integration as well as cooperation in resolving economic crises among third world countries. “The summit is great chance for Egyptian team to hold talks with Brazil to activate the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the Common Market of the South (Mercosur), especially Argentinean parliament agreed on it,” Shafei told Egypt Today on Thursday. Meanwhile, member of Egyptian Businessmen Association, Ahmed Mounir said that BRICS summit will represent a starting point for Chinese investments and the Chinese Industrial City in Egypt. Mounir stressed on the importance to attract Chinese corporations to invest large capitals in the Suez Canal Axis, especially after liberating the change rates. Egyptian exports to China reached $325.8m in the first quarter (Q1) of 2017, an increase of $91m compared to the same period last year. Imports, on the other hand, decreased by 30.3 percent in 2017 compared to a year earlier. Most of Egyptian exports from China are machines and electronics. The group of emerging economies will meet on September 3-5 in the southeastern Chinese city of Xiamen for the ninth summit of the bloc, which was first launched by Russia, China, India and Brazil in 2006 and expanded in 2010 to include South Africa. Sisi told Chinese media before his trip to China that Egypt is willing to further contribute to cooperation within the BRICS framework. "Our participation in the meetings with the BRICS countries is of great importance, especially as Egypt enjoys promising economic capabilities and provides an outstanding strategic location that can help it effectively support the BRICS community and its priorities," Sisi said as being quoted Xinhua news agency on Wednesday. | ![]() tli8jaguar

12/9/2017 12:04 | tgg, Noone wetting themselves here. Just raising the issue. I may email them later for a bit more clarity on the situation. Lets see where they are early nextyear. Cash | ![]() cashandcard
12/9/2017 11:41 | For those wetting themselves about receivables, take a look at the RNS which announced the Circle acquistion, About halfway down, take a look at the Circle/SDX pro-forma BS. You'll notice that the latest (then available) Circle accounts showed receivables of $28 mill, which added to SDX receivables showed a figure for the combined group of $36 mill. SDX receivables in last week's accounts have risen to $39.5 mill. You'll also notice that turnover has jumped year-on-year..... in the 6 months to 30/6/16, grosss revenue was $6.1 mill (just for SDX), to $24.5 mill in the 6 months to 30/6/17 for the enlarged group. If anyone has anything useful to add to the above, feel free. If not, please just give it a rest. | ![]() thegreatgeraldo
12/9/2017 11:06 | There's a world of difference between payment for current production & settling of o/s payments bought with COP @ 30cents or whatever on the dollar. Is anyone suggesting there's a problem with payment being received for current production? If so, please provide some evidence. TIA. | ![]() thegreatgeraldo
12/9/2017 10:53 | shakeypremis, It just takes longer. Annoying, but I see them getting payment sometime nextyear. It could well be earlier as alluded to by tgg and others. Cash | ![]() cashandcard
12/9/2017 10:30 | I doubt SDX would bother throwing more money at Egypt on SD if they didn't think they were going to get paid. SDX can afford to be a lot more relaxed about the receivables. | ![]() soulsauce |
