06/4/2017 19:53 | Qp, I thought you said you were done with Scot mortg after Anderson's rant against May? | spoole5
04/4/2017 21:12 | A good day in prospect for ScoMo tomorrow.
Their biggest holding Amazon up 1.7%, likewise their third largest holding Tesla up 1.7%.

04/4/2017 11:56 | I hold directly.
It fits perfectly into my aggressive GROWTH portfolio.
If you measure this stock on traditional "value investing" criteria and textbook ratios, you'll run a mile - just like you would have on Google, Microsoft, Apple and Amazon in years gone by. The rest on those stocks is history.
That is the real investing genius of Anderson. And I do mean genius. He is a very cerebral, and prescient investor. Personally, I can't think of anyone in the UK professional investing arena who comes close to his talent in spotting true global growth potential.
It's not just a fluke that ScoMo has joined the illustrious ranks of FTSE 100 companies. The growth in the ScoMo portfolio is unprecedented for such a large fund size.
Anderson and team are absolutely spot on about the meteoric prospects for Tesla.
ALL IMO. DYOR.

04/4/2017 11:39 | Tesla mcap now greater than Ford's, I heard on the radio this morning.
All a bit crazy, and I would never have the nerve to hold it directly.
That's why I think the only way for a natural value investor (like myself) to hold growth shares is through a fund like this. | galeforce1
04/4/2017 10:47 | And all for a company that will never make a profit! | spoole5
04/4/2017 08:29 | Market cap of Tesla surges to $48billion and is now higher capitalised than Ford at $45billion.
Tesla Share price up 20% so far this year from $250 to $300.
As at end Feb, Tesla was ScoMo's 3rd largest holding at 6.3% of portfolio. - Maybe higher by now/April.

18/3/2017 12:41 | 2.5m more shares issued at 362p ...... a premium to the net asset value. | ygor706
17/3/2017 21:16 | into ftse 100 today - hence closing jump - more volatility likely now.. | pjw956
10/3/2017 15:48 | Eton Musk is promising to solve South Australia's energy problems within 100 days or his equipment is free to the buyer. Wallpack 2 has just been launched in Australia so this could be either a very clever or somewhat expensive PR initiative! TESLA a big holding in the SMT portfolio. | ygor706
01/3/2017 18:14 | SMT finally made it!Well done James Anderson. | galeforce1

02/2/2017 15:45 | Good results from Ferrari today, which is an SMT holding. | galeforce1
22/1/2017 18:08 | Her biggest mistake as Home secretary was not to introduce the EU law on migrants
having to support themselves namely in respect of paying health care in member states. You have to pay or have private medical insurance. This has been the case
since 2006. My partner and 14 year old in Spain have private health insurance and have to pay for dental care.
She needs to be asked on mainstream TV why she did not implement the EU law.
This free access to the national health and dentistry played a big part in the Brexit vote.
This needs to be admitted by May. | philo124
